@@Bat-1939 There is a difference. Tom Welling's Clark Kent was a high schooler into young adulthood whereas Tyler Hoechlin's Clark Kent is a married man with kids and adult responsibilities. So the two Clark Kents are at different phases in their lives. Both actors did a phenomenal job.

David Corenswet may have gone to Julliard, but Tyler Hoechlin has been acting since he was a child and has acting chops for days. Every little thing he does is just magic. And Bitsie Tulloch was with him every step of the way in this series. In fact, they both made the other even better, and each had their own moments to shine. Corenswet and Brosnahan are phenomenal actors as well, of course. What I'm really trying to say here is to not look down on Hoechlin and Tulloch as being 'the cheap TV Wish version'. They're not. All four of these actors are exceptional, and that's all that matters here. Don't compare, just enjoy.

While Im not the biggest fan of the show im enough of a fan im going to watch this last season but to me Im going to appreciate it for a bigger reason rather than its just ending is the fact that this is for the time being going to be the last big sci fi show the cw(formerly the wb network) is going to air, like im sure they will air like imported sci fi stuff from canada and the uk seems to be their pattern cause yeah its basically a shell of its former self it feels like PAX tv if anyone recalls that channel but yeah this channel was special to me and we had so many sci fi shows and verses on it for decades-charmedverse, buffyverse, nancy drew verse, arrowverse(which this show kind of is part of), vampire diaries verse, supernaturalverse, I mean this show is really the end of that era and its sad but life goes on, its funny too someone was like smalllville was the first dc show wb aired and now despite being called the cw superman is also the last dc show it will air so it ironically fits, im not saying forever as time exists that will be the case im just saying for the moment this is really its swan song and to me that is going to hit harder when the show ends not so much no longer seeing live action lois and superman on tv cause we know they will come back on the big screen anyway and you got that adventures of superman cartoon as well.

Such a great show and these two are perfect as their respective characters. The series coming to an end is all James Gunn's fault. He wants to combine DC TV with DC movies, so he doesn't want multiple Supermans on at the same time, which is a stupid mindset. The whole point of the comic book genre is that there can be multiple interpretations of these characters. Different writers, different artists, different storylines, so why not different shows and different actors? The audience isn't dumb. We can figure out for ourselves that these are obviously two separate worlds, especially since one airs on the CW while the other would air on HBO Max.

Great show. Sad it's over, nut looking forward to what's coming from DC. I'm gonna give my answer to the "which super power would you want" question. I would take telekinesis. With enough practice, you could essentially fly. 2 in 1. There's other tricks that could be used to create other "powers", but I don't want to start an entire debate over this.
