It should’ve, but they still did a great job making this the last season and wrapping everything up. This also had the most badass and evil Lex Luthor I’ve ever seen and the best Lois Lane and Sam Lane, my personal favorites at least.

I genuinely wish from the bottom of my heart that this show got more seasons or at least more episodes in the final season. It's a crime what happened to the production of the show and being forced to end it early. However, despite how unwanted that it was, I'm ultimately glad that it happened. As much as I would've loved to have each character explored more, it's probably better that it ended early. It forced the writers to focus more on completing the story well instead of drawing it out for ratings. Having a shortened schedule forced them to progress the story quickly in a short amount of time but that also gave us one of the best endings ever for Superman as well as what is easily one of if not the best, IMO, live action adaptation of a Superman story. Though it was shorter lived than we all hoped, the work and care put into the final season has solidified this show as a perfect representation of what a Superman story should be and what a Super hero story can be.

Its such a shame that this Superman TV series had to end because of Gunn's Superman movie coming out in 2025. This is by far the best version of Superman series or movie i have ever watch. It's just sad!!

@MusicLuv80 It happened in Season 4 Episode 3, after Superman died and was defeated by Doomsday. He got really upset with Jordan cz he messed up in saving Superman's heart that could have revived Superman back to life. Jonathan got really emotional, it happened in the barn, he was sitting on Superman's spaceship and he started crying cz he just lost his dad. That's the moment his powers started emerging. He got all his powers on the same day, heat vision, flight, x-ray, super hearing, super strength, ice breath etc.

But when Jonathan's kicked in Jordan felt less special but people forget in the comics Lois & Clark have a son named Jonathan. So in this show it was meant for Jon to get powers Jordan was a made up character for the show just like Chole Sullivan was created for Smallville.

Well the flashes kids are called the tornado twins. And Thea and Roy Harper are both speedy but we’re given different names at some point. Roy is arsenal and Thea is technically red arrow. Maybe John and Jordan should have titles based on the personalities instead of their abilities. Like Thea and Roy are basically green arrow but have different uses for team arrow.

In the series finale, the guy who plays adult Jonathan Kent is David Guintoli who was Nick Burkhardt in Grimm.. He was actually considered for the role of Superman in the Man of Steel movie, but they gave it to Henry Cavill.. If they ever make a Son of Superman show with him as Jonathan Kent the new Superman, this finale scene is basically setting him to be the best choice for the role! So that is a possible sequel.

I don’t like how they hardly did anything throughout the show. Johnathan was shown to have a far better understanding of the powers and how to control them long before his came in. The show kept teasing us as if he was gonna have a super cool heroic moment but it never came. There was almost no point in giving them powers at all. Especially John.

He's the Conner Kent 'OG" Superboy. Tactile Telekinesis, 90's version. That's why he mastered his powers so quickly. Jordan acts as Superboy of New 52 Universe. You can tell by the designs of their suites. Jordan's suit design and hair style looks EXACTLY like New 52 Universe, plus that version of superboy is emotionally challenged, and gets his powers through emotional distress. Jonathan hair style, suit, is OG Superboy 90's WITHOUT the Jacket. If they throw in the black jacket with the gold S shield.. well you get 90's Superboy

Superbrothers. The Sons Superman. The Brothers of Steel, or Tomorrow. Just wondered they've got human names, but did they get Krypton names like Kal El they father Superman. Never revealed but it would of be interesting. Jordan had Mon El and John was Kal Jo El or similar? And its a shame that Supergirl was with them or a bubble time machine didn't appear with the Legion inside it. In fact this mark the end of Arrowverse it should have something way off in the corner showing a lighting blot and someone running fast, and green glowing light and a face like Oliver Queen as the Spector and a ship that was the Waverider in the distance. And a Monitor looking on, saying " one chapter ends?" In a different world a child is sent to a distance world to change the multiverse forever. BRAVE AND THE BOLD! A tale never ends it is but a million stories to fill the multiverse with one spark of a dream. Superman and Lois will never have a end as long as there a KZbin or Netflix or as long as fans remember.

Superman ended up needing a heart transplant for whatever reason and could only get a human heart, which made him have trouble with his powers

They had to make a convoluted reason for having Superman die as Clark, one of the drawbacks for Superman having a wife and family, is that he outlives everyone, he barely ages and there's comics that show Superman being alive for centuries This show started by killing off the major figureheads of Clarks life, Ma Kent died which got Clark to move back to the farm, Jorel and the ice FoS had to be removed, General Lane died, so the only things the writers had left to strip away was Lois and Clark themselves A rushed final season and incompetent writers made the show end very stupidly Clark could've gotten a new heart by having his brother Tal (Laras first son) die trying to avenge Clark (trying to kill Doomsday and provide Clark a new heart if he failed), Tal was prepared die to helping Clark against Parasite and helped to restore Clarks powers with a sun dip So it wouldn't have went against Tals character to sacrifice himself The boys should've had more screen time in their supersuits, a montage of them as heroes with Clark slowly benching himself, to let the boys take Clarks place as earth's Supermen The boys aging into adulthood was bad, it shouldn't have been an actor swap, the boys should've aged up as heroes, then there's the question of whether Clarks grandkids could've inherited kryptonian powers
