Brooke is entertaining enough with just calmly reading people like a torn paperback book, and looking cute while doing it. She doesn't need to stoop low, being a fraud flying in on helicopters, or making a messy first impression such as Jason being introduced as the punk queen who threw alcohol in a woman's face, which Hazel was on the receiving end of. So since Hazel doesn't mind Jason splashing her in the face they can continue to sit there acting like besties and criticizing others who show way more class than either of them have ever portrayed.
