They sell these Comfort Zone's for about $28 at Target/WalMart, but for $28 they have no buttons, instead the fans have 2 speeds, and you can flip the fans themselves 180 for desired position...just bought one ;) For ghetto AC, I recommend a box fan and place in front of it jugs of frozen water (used milk gallons).

I mean, not really, Ac’s are usually more effective, but this works pretty well as well.

Those fans are made to be used in windows that open upward. You place it on the lower part of the window with a screen to keep most bugs out... If you only have left to right (vice versa) opening windows then you did a great job... Praise God, Michael

Use a pollen filter over the fan
