Oh! I just noticed Watson's expression at 2:08-2:09, and I realized... Watson KNOWS that Holmes is in love with him. He knows, but out of a strange kindness, is pretending NOT to know; because he can't return those feelings, mostly, but also because it's safer to let a sleepwalker wake on his own than it is to interrupt his dreams. Isn't that the common wisdom? And your vid really brought it home to me - Holmes as the dreamer, and Watson as the companion who quietly lets him dream. Thank you.

Deliriously beautiful... And after all, deduction and delirium are two of Holmes's greatest pleasures. (Second only to Watson, of course.) There are some exquisite images here - very metaphorical and deep - the crow, in particular, struck me whenever it appeared, in a Poe-like, nevermore sort of way. Thank you for the vid! Might I ask you for a download link? Because I'd LOVE to re-watch this when I'm not online. :)

I think Watson is the one who is in love with Holmes! In the books it's kinda evident! :) But he's afraid of his feelings and wants to bury them forever getting a wife. Holmes is devoted to his job and he doesn't want to get distracted by love: that's his life style! So he just pretend he doesn't love Watson.

4:09-4:12 im pretty sure Watson sees Holmes staring at him, and says "what?" and Holmes says "...nothing." as he looks down. I think Holmes wants to tell you his confession Watson ;D

But when his dear friend is about to get married and Holmes knows he is going to loose him, he finally understand that his dream-life he was living with Watson is going to end! And it's just a shocking waking up! :) But a wedding isn't enough to get them apart! ^^ Oh, such a wonderful couple they are! ♥ I loved them in the books and I'm loving them so much in this new series of movies! (Well... such a pity they had to put that "out of character" Irene Adler in the mix!)
