Love it. A garden space within a busy downtown. I like the veggie sharing area. Some parts of my container garden did very well this year and others not good due to early dry heat then three times the normal rain. But I seem to get a bumper crop of jalapeños ( which I can't eat) no matter the weather. Loved seeing the artichokes growing. Hope the vacation was good.

We try to go every year and this was the first year they've done it, so I really wish them all the best! I'm sorry you can't eat jalapenos - I gotta ask...why do you grow them? Radishes are like *so* easy, but I don't like them so I won't grow them 😂

I absolutely love this idea, thanks for sharing. We don't have anything like that where I live. I'd love it if we had one for our street though, would be ideal.

I think it's a great idea for any community. I think it would work in a small community and they've proved it works in a reasonably sized town.

Love how they multi layered the containers. Were they fabric grow bags or plastic? It was hard to tell. I also liked how they eliminated gaps by joining the pots so they formed almost a beehive effect. And the use of what were supposed to be wheel barrows into heavy duty but moveable planters. Ingenious!! Lots of really good ideas that can be incorporated into almost any container garden. Will you be trying any out in your garden?

The beehive effect i believe is a joined up long piece of plastic, woven to create the containers - not sure if it was made to do that or they've just recycled something in order to create that multilayered effect - it was ingenious! I am always looking for ideas to reuse things in my garden. I'll have a think over my planning period to see if anything works here. 😊
