This is not just a remake of an old anime, the plot here is based on the original source (light novel). The old anime, for example, completely skipped 4 volumes of the light novel (an entire separate adventure, key to the entire plot).

looking at the bathhouse, I originally thought they were having the conversation at the main room/living room due to the fire place, but the fire place at the living room is supposed to have a rag on the floor in front of it whereas here the rag seems off to the side and the room is clearly a dead end room and not spacious. Furthermore, it's obvious that the front door isn't leading to straight into the room as myuri goes to the side when she exits, and the side of the main room should be hana's area, the kitchen, definitely not so readily accessible Then, I thought it might be Holo's room, but holo's room has a table by the window for writing which here does not and the room certainly does not seem to be a bedroom due to the lounging area in front of the window and the lack of beds There's a worktable by the door as well as shelves and cupboards with vases and objects, and the table holo and myuri is at is certainly a dining table or just a centre table for multiple people, so perhaps this is one of lawrence's work rooms? Or, this room is a lounge for more trusted people like selim's folk Then again, it might just be a lounge next to the living room, they live in a reputable area after all.

I really hope that is Holo and Lawrence in the future. One question though, in the last clip where are Holo’s ears? Where are the daughter’s ears? If she’s half wolf surely she’d have them.

That is indeed Holo and Lawrence in the future. The daughter's name is Myuri and is one of the protagonists of the sequel series _Wolf and Parchment._ A possible reason she doesn't have ears in this scene is that in _Wolf and Parchment_ it's shown that Myuri can hid her more wolfish traits at will. Holo I'm not certain, since she still has her wolf traits in the future. It's possible in this version she finally got around to hiding her ears or more likely it's simply a continuity error

@@xprodigyx9069I HIGHLY doubt that's the case. Because those two are DEFINIELTY Spoilers Myuri and Holo just from the Va's, mannerisms, the fact that Holo is telling the story, etc.

I think more than anything it's more a continuity error than anything. Because spoilers Later on in Spring Log and Wolf and Parchment, both Holo and Myuri definitely still have their wolf traits and nothing has changed ever since their introduction till now in both of the LN's.

I would like to see how the relationship between Holo and Lawrence develops after their journey into the continuation of the anime, but as in all anime, this will not be shown to us😔.
