@@NicoleLovesNails I want to support a brand by buying indie, but sometimes I just get tempted by free shipping, Ulta's reward system, or being able to combine my nail polish with other items so I don't have to track down a lot of different shipments or I can do a pickup in store. I'm a perpetuator of big box capitalism and I suck.

Solo mission looks GORGEOUS on your skin tone in my opinion!! Love this collection, its super unique imo :) I picked up Alien Infatuation and Solo mission, as I'm not as much of a warm-toned girly but i still think the warmer toned shades were lovely :)

It boggles my mind that people are running around without top coat. It makes polish dry so much faster, last longer and look better! Why skip it people?? 😂

OMG it is totally a meat collection! I actually like it MORE now, because it doesn't scream space at all to me (and I LOVE space) xD I won't be picking up the whole collection, but I may get a couple colors at some point. I think this was meant to be an anti-Valentine's Day collection in all reality.

I picked up the whole collection because I also wanted the “meat”box. I love a muted, more neutral palette and I was excited by the newer formulae. Thank you for your review. I thought “Solo Mission” looked lovely on you.

Thanks for the comparison to Orly's Perseverance. I like that color and wondered how similar they are. I have to say that I'm OK with this collection, but I have a list of other HT that I'll likely pick up first. I feel that Alien Infatuation doesn't compare to Mooncat's newest light green in beauty. I wish it had more of Christine's personality to make it more glowy out-there alien!

@@NicoleLovesNails I don't mind at all, I have a book case where I have them on display and I have a few that are my favorite on a shelf above my desk. All the bottles are out and in an organizer but I ended up with so many boxes I bought a book shelf to display them

Orbite me, that's the other one. i'd have gotten waste of space if it wasn't the only one that caught me right off the bat. No use for alien invasion or solo mission at all. I would literally never wear them not ever.

I feel like reds with orange shimmer almost always pull super orange, I appreciate that this one doesn’t in person. A orange leaning red is my least favorite type of red 😅

The brand is Heather’s Hues and the polish is called venustraphobia. Sadly it’s no longer available, it came out October 2020 🥲 Agreed 100000% on a rainbow of crushed holos! I NEED a blue and a pank in that formula

The meatbox is a no for me lol so it's going in the back behind all the others. The polishes are OK, the colors aren't my go but I do like bite me, the crushed holos are my favorite. Thanks for the review. 🎉

Ok so I get irrationally irritated when people don’t use topcoat! Why? You’re wasting your precious nail polish without it, it’s never going to cure and it’s not going to look like it’s supposed to and you’ll be disappointed. This does feel like a very adventurous collection for Holo Taco, no? Alien Infatuation and Solo Mission at least are not in their usual lane, from what I’ve seen. Spring collections always throw me a little because when they come out we’re still in deep midwinter up here. We have at least two feet of snow on the ground and it is currently snowing.

Me too honestly. Textured polishes (and I guess matte ones too 😒) are the only exceptions to not wear top coat in my mind. I have that same issue with spring collections. It’s so weird talking about spring colors when I’m still wearing my winter coat and snow boots to go outside.

thanks for the swatches! I'm actually of a different opinion that I don't want indie style polishes, LOL. I don't really like most indie polishes, more of a 'boutique" polish lover, so I'm not a huge fan of the direction HT is going in. Their holo linear formula is top tier and their cremes are excellent, and ofc I love their toppers. I also really enjoy their frosted metals, glitters, and the newer crushed holo. I'm hoping we see more of the more "basic" (lol) stuff this year, cos I feel that's where they really excel. also... MEAT BOX 🥩

Wow I disagree with your opinion. If I wanted "normal" finishes, I would just buy polish at CVS. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I think there are a lot more people that agree with you out there.
