Holocaust Remembrance Day | Bishop Robert Stearns

For several decades, Yom Hashoah has been a day dedicated to honoring the six million Jewish people who were murdered in the Holocaust.
While that is still a critically important duty and the foundation of this day of remembrance, this year, we are so unfortunately tasked with thinking about the horrible attacks of October 7th, the current war and the hostages being held captive, and the rising antisemitism in our country and around the world.
We must take action. What are we doing to fight antisemitism as it continues to escalate again, 83 years after the Holocaust?

We need Masters degrees in human decency...Holocaust "catastrophe" Survivor Gerda Weissmann Klein said this about the man who rescued her: “He held the door open for me and let me precede him and in that gesture restored me to humanity.” Her book, "All but my life" should be read by every highschool student before graduating IMO.

My Dad altered his birth certificate so that he could join up. He was a fighter pilot during WWII and was interred in a POW camp. He and his fellow combatants came back from the war and could not talk about the horrors they witnessed. His generation believed the UN when it promised the holocaust survivors NEVER AGAIN. Look at them now. I stand with Israel.
