Sadly, the “interviewer” does not serm to be paying attention to his story and keeps asking obvious questions over and over. I wished some kind of training could be provided to the people conducting the testemonies.

I went to the Warsaw memorial and the gates of Auschwitz in 1990. I just realised it's 5 years before his return. But I will never trully understand all he saw, nor come close to the real thing.

The way he talks about how his parents and relatives , that were killed in the basement by artillery, seems so flat. It doesn't seem like he was upset at all.

You never know the effect of trauma on people. Some develop a defense mechanism with a rather flat disposition while others show vulnerability.
