This sounded like there was only really 3 or 4 usable places to go with it, It's not a lot but I've had many a machine that only had 3 or 4 patches as part of my composing arsenal. It's not a downplay on it, rather than a lot of it sounding too far out for me but 4 solid voices to write with is cool as part of a set. A very interesting pedal that I've never heard about. And it would have been cool to have two since it's not stereo, which would also allow for very wicked things to be done separately to each channel before mixing it together again in a following reverb section. I can only presume the name is a wordplay on a Hamlet reference where Yorick (the man whose skull Hamlet is holding up) is described as a man of "infinite jest".

I can see this being a handy thing to plop onto a small portable pedal-board to take to a session when travelling light, but not much else. In my own studio or for live/touring it's not interesting in the least. Or maybe as a 'splurge' b-day present for a relative novice to get their feet wet in this direction, perhaps? For the already initiated, a half-decent modular synth with a PPL runs circles around this - while also able to generate/process or sequence other sounds simultaneously. If you DIY it the case&PSU is a bit steep initially, but then you can build modules (that do waaay more than pedals can) for 30-80 bucks in parts.

I would love to have this pedal my self but wonder if I wouldn't be a bit annoyed that its mono. Maybe for guitar it doesn't matter, but to me it seems like this thing wants to play with anything and everything that makes a sound. Saying that, the way you use this thing makes it sound like you got the most considerate and attentive synth player hidden in the background some where.

Great demo Stefan, you really know how to bring out the best out of pedals and make the demos musical! I read that you need to calibrate the Infinite Jets before you use it.
