I don't have a Microcosm yet, but i use a Korg Kaoss Pad, a Casio Trackformer and a Catalinbread Csidman mostly for glitches. I can recommend the Sunfish Ikigai for glitch stuff, is great

I got like the 400th Microcosm made, it's a 'noice' little box, but noisy when sitting idol, it's bonkers. I have to read the manual again, it also needs a pre-amp to feed it beefy and juicy signals
