There was a fellow who used to play electrified hammer dulcimer in downtown San Francisco 20 years ago and it was beautiful. This rather reminds me of that sound, but the harp is more ethereal and the dulcimer was more intense. I'm wondering what felting your hammers would sound like electrified.

This music is wonderful. I love the ways she uses effects to do even more with her instrument and obvious skill. And then there are her smiles 🌞 Jeff - it just shows us how crazy our world has become when someone can report a video of harp music as dangerous to children AND IT GETS TAKEN DOWN. This goes beyond guilty until proven innocent. It is censorship until deemed acceptable. Even 2 years ago, I would’ve laughed if you told me this was where we were headed. Your combination of harp and pedal reminds me of seeing Laraaji out busking on Broadway back in 1985, sitting cross legged playing a hammered dulcimer through an Echoplex tape loop unit; kind of gnarly, shimmery, very ethereal - like a warbler in a gale of sound. Lovely to be able to make the comparison.
