1) 90% of the attacks come with a circle prompt, you can time your dodge with this visual cue instead of watching its animations, it should help. 2) All of its grab attacks can be parried, the parry indicator is hidden. There is also a parry bug that they have not fixed since CBT2 where the area in front of its face will still cause damage to you. Just quickly dodge to its side and attack it. 3) Timing for its dive grabs are telegraphed by a big flash on its wings. [3rd image] 4) ALL failed parries will result in it firing light missiles THREE times. Immediately create some distance when you fail the parry to allow missiles to converge to you else it goes crazy with the tracking when you're too close. Stay calm and don't greed damage and try to anticipate grabs after the end of any of its attacks. Hope that helps.

I was able to do parries in this game by pretending they were beats on a screen that I had to press to get a high score. It's easy to play but I still fumble on execution of actual rotations since that is not usually part of a rhythm game

I was so busy sweating that didnt even notice that it literally flashes all of its attacks. Still took me 2 hours tho, but I am the definition of the skill issue, so) Also I found it easier to dodge 3 rounds of missiles since I failed to time the parries. No matter what I did I could parry 1 out of 3 grabs (not counting accidental parries) But when you know the missiles are coming - just take a few steps back and enjoy the slowmo. Thank you, it helped a lot.

Since there is no hitzone values and every part of the body takes the same dmg. Range characters have a huge upper hand in everything. No wonder they have a harder time parrying cause they have alot more dmg uptime. They did a good job with balancing so far. Do you think a future 5 star dps pistol user would throw off the balance? Chixia is already doing numbers like gawddamn🤧 Also, putting in Yuanwu fills all your stance break needs >:3 Underated character no doubt

I think the "unobvious" parry is with the red spark in the eyes, indicating it should be a counterable move (with certain echoes). Honestly I haven't fully grasp what the game wants me to do there ever since it was in the Tutorial fight.

I've never been this desperate to finish bosses since Dark Souls III. I mean even in Elden Ring there's bloodhound step and mimic tear to finish the game, there's Zimmerman in AC6, this game is purely like Sekiro and Dark Souls, it's all patterns and timing and a little bit of consumption if you're that diligent. No cheat weapon whatsoever, no Zhongli, no amount of money will save you. It's pissing me off so bad knowing that they're lore accurately just some holograms.

its a bugged boss from start to the end, when you dodge projectiles you can dodge without any dmg, and then see how you in parry jump dying, then he flied up and second later he must land on and you can dodge, instead of this, he flied away, he dissapear from battlefield, and go to the near peak and burst projectiles from out

fun fact you can spend the first 20 seconds of the boss to cook the boss. Gave my jiyan a 40% atk boost with verina buffs and tried to squeeze all buffs before using his stage 2 ult and by the time i finished attacking the boss with jiyan's ult state he was already nearing half health at difficulty 5.

When I beat D6, I found it easiest to parry the dive bomb grab with Verina, tried with Jiyan/ MC but didn't know the wing flash is the indicator and always did it later to make up for melee distance

First of all, thank you very much for your guides! Sometimes it's hard for me to even understand what's going on during combat, let alone react appropriately to attacks. As for the gold rings that appear before the boss attack, sometimes I've noticed the same rings around my characters during the game. Could it be that WuWa will have a pvp mode and these rings around the players' characters are needed to parry attacks during a duel? I don't rule out that it's just some kind of glitch on my PC 😅

Sadly these visual clues are useless when playing characters with flashy animations like Changli and Jinhsi. Generally bosses with timers force you to rush, unlike soulsgames having option to carefully observe patterns and strike when opening.

i think from difficult 5 and above, there are no counter indicators for any hologram boss. they expect you already know which attack can be counter at that point
