Honestly the accents track. I feel like phonetically the Shaanxi accent does to Mandarin what Scottish does to English, and they're both Northern regions. Both accents tend to drag a lot of vowels out and throw additional vowels into a single syllable for good measure.

I mean ofc chinese is better but el isn't that bad. and that's normal. cuz for any case where a film/game is dubbed in another language the translation is usually odd. Then for this game, the EL dub of wukong is as accurate it can get alr. It's just not as authentic as Chinese

It’s a mixture of things. Shaanxi accent for Chinese is similar to how Scottish accent is to English. The Shaanxi province looks similar to England. The original singer is from the northern part of the province which when compared to England is……Scotland.
