Do note that it isn't actually Yagoo, stream snipers for hololive girls like using Yagoo as a fun joke/to piss them off (and the reason why they always die right after is because once they've sniped suisei, they let themselves die so they show up next to her/near her rank). But yeah she is very good at tetris, she normally just casually talks and reads chat whilst playing, and has had memorable occasions happen like the tetris99 world number 2 or 3 getting asked to go snipe her stream (she did a 1v1 vs world number 2 that got clipped and subbed), or the world number 1 coming into her tetris endurance stream and helping kill her snipers since she was really tired at that point.

That's actually a really funny and entertaining plan hahaha. Hearing/seeing Suisei shout Yagoo when she sees the name was so fun to watch! And it really is amazing how she can play so AWESOMELY despite multitasking as well, she's really of another calibre and it's so cool. Thank you for letting us know about all of this! I think the craziest part of Suisei's Tetris play is that she not only has conversation while playing at this level but is also able to glance over and READ THE CHAT at the same time. It blows my mind.

Just some notes: -YAGOO are pro-player stream sniping her. It's been confirmed by various pro-tetris player. It's an internal joke between them. -She is basically at pro-player level. Not top 10 of world, but at good high pro level. -She said that to keep her skill, every day she clears 1000 lines at tetris. Starting from at least half of space filled. -Her skill translates to her being very good at alike games, and in general at matching tiles games. -She for a time challenged various other hololivers... winning them all in around 15 to 25 seconds (only loss was when she voluntary choose to lose when teaching another hololiver). -Her house in the minecraft hololive jp server has a dt-cannon (a particolar tetris scheme that allows a high ranked clearing) on the roof as decoration.

For her Project Winter videos, I recommend the two clips by Jurunrishi: "The Origin of Psychopath Suisei" and "Hoshimachi Suisei's Unstoppable Massacre" (in that order). Those moments and her tetris streams are what made me stay in the rabbit hole.

1:28 Both of them are so good at Tetris; they even used a same tactic (which lots of pro players used). The 0.5s difference in First Strike make Suisei winner. She watch what Haato doing, and decide to strike when Haato is about to strike first.

1:51 At that moment, Suisei is using a tactic called "dt-cannon". This tactic exploited a feature in Tetris called "T-Spin" in which a "T" shape piece can be spinned in order to fit into the space that it can't go through. By using 2 T-Spins (a triple and then a double), player can clear out 5 lines (2 for the first and 3 for the second spin). This tactic is highly effective against column combo tactic, especially 2-column and 3-column setup (in which they have to build over 5 lines to beginning strike).

Also correct me if i'm wrong, Suisei is the only one in hololive that unlocked the Invictus mode or VIP mode ( couldn't remember which one it is ) in tetris99 The mode became available when you have maximus status or won 1st place for a number of times, so it's basically room for pro tetris players And she also won several times in that mode as well

Suisei is so good What i’m confused is those clips are out translated. YAGOO is most likely just stream sniper as the account named comes in different names or multiple in the same match Kenmochi from Nijisanji is also an awesome Tetris Player that matches Suisei. For “Project Winter” there is a translated clip with Susiopath history or similar ^^

I've seen a lot of comments saying YAGOO is a tetris pro calledAmemiya, and that It's easy to know if you know the guys. I'm not too much into the tetris scene myself, so I can't confirm. I didn't see any actual proof either. Just some tetris fans saying with conviction, as it being obvious.

The likely reason suisei is able to commentate while playing is two fold; experience and, evolutionarily, women are (usually) better at multitasking whereas men are better at focusing. Historically women were the ones looking after the children while men were out hunting, which takes a lot of focus.
