Well in this RE it makes things easier if you kill the zombies, you get so much ammo as long as you don't miss. They're even nice enough to give you ammo and stuff in boss fights.

@@Lahdee Doesn't it depend on difficulty? I've never played the remakes, but I do know not to try and kill every zombie, just use the bullets to stagger or knock them down so they won't attack.

@@KiyanPocket Yes ammo is affected but it's not very noticeable between assisted and standard. Only on hardcore, it's not really feasible to kill zombies with handguns. But once you get the shotgun/grenade launcher, you can take out a zombie in one shot instead of like 15-20 bullets. Most new people though tend to save them for the bosses and end up taking more damage in the long run. Getting past zombies is a good strategy if it's not a path where you have to go through again while being chased. You can't really dodge the zombies unless you stagger them or you use a defense item in the remake.

These Japanese version is so tame on the gore compared to the international version. Like that cop's head not being split completely in half. Considering how messed up Japanese media can sometimes be, I'm surprised they censor the gore. I'm pretty sure that the top you find alive who tried to crawl under the shutter doesn't get ripped in half either. He just gets mauled below the waist.

The game changes in first person mode though, can be real tricky to keep track of faster enemies and bosses... But still a bad feeling to have bullet proof zombies, should have just made ammo ultra scarce and made headshots have a near certain kill shot, reward accurate shooting and punish panicked spraying.
