Aqua was actually on standard, you can see it when she saves. Although RE2make does adjust enemy damage and stuff based on your ammo and stuff. So it's possible she had so much ammo that the game upped itself to hardcore values at that time.

Sorta off topic. Leon has seen some super mega serious shit and I'm surprised the guy is as mentally sane and morally human as he is. Guy sees a ton of death and instead of brushing it off he feels bad and even acknowledges that loss. Leon is such a neat character.

Interesting fact the zombies from resident evil are not zombies they're actually suffering from a mutated form of of rabies the t-virus causes rabies like effects which means when you are infected your brain swells up which means you are conscious but you are mentally slow so every time you've killed a infected in resident evil 2 you're actually killing a person thought I might mention that considering a lot of people don't have a problem with killing Marvin because they think he's dead as infected he's not dead and neither are none of the other infected they're all still conscious and alive they just can't control their own actions
