Sticky rice goes well with rendang (there are veggies rendang) if you like spicy and savory. Sticky rice with black bean is delicious if you want something sweet and creamy. Sticky rice with mango are good since it's sweet and sour. Fauna seems to want the creaminess of ice cream on it. It goes well too.

At that point it's almost literally just banana ice cream in a waffle cone, the only difference is that it's hot. But bananas foster is a hot banana dessert so it probably would still work. I'd probably do _sweet plantains_ on pizza because normal supermarket bananas in America are really way too sweet, plantains are a little more tangy. Though there's that one pizza from Norway or something that freaks me out, where it's bananas and mozzarella.

It's common in Thailand, cuz it's 35++ °C here, so any desserts that can be make frosty, cold or put an ice cream on it are valid. Either that or we'll make an ice cream flavor out of that desert, like in summer Swensens will have 'Mango Sticky Rice' as a flavor you can choose for your ice cream. Even Bingsu too, we'll put mango and mango syrup on, serve with sticky rice and you get 'Mango Sticky rice Bingsu' Oh, did I mention that sticky rice is also a common traditional topping for ice cream too? It's not technically a topping but we put it 'under' ice cream. When the ice cream melt (which it is melted fairly quick under 35 °C) the ice cream will soak up all the sticky rice under so you can eat sweet(ier) sticky rice after you finish the ice cream.

When it comes to sticky rice desserts, I still remember the block of pure carb that was these philipinos brought to work every day in a baking tray. Was caramel on the bottom and a sweet sugar syrup throughout the sticky rice that was at least 1 inch deep. There are 2 type of sticky rice and it cooking in different ways. The regular one cooking with water. goes with meals like grilled pork, fried chicken, papaya salad etc But the other one is cooking for dessert by adding sweet coconut milk so this sticky rice is moist, soft and sweet. The problem is Mango Sticky rice is a seasonal dessert. You can't eat it outside summer. And the sticky rice isn't just plain sticky rice, that's Laos menu. For Thai menu, the rice need to be prepared with sweet coconut juice, sometimes with pandan infused (often dyed green). And after placing the Mango, top it up with condensed (reduced) coconut milk, either plain, or sweeten. That's why it's crazy delicious. In Fauna case, I guessed they replaced the coconut milk with vanilla ice-cream toppings, or have a separate sauce cup for add-on.

Cows are typically impregnated so they can produce milk, once they give birth the calf is separated from the mother and usually taken to a slaughter house to produce veal. Dairy cows are also more often than not confined in small tight spaces where they can't walk around and are forced to poop and pee in there. Then once the cow is deemed past her prime for producing milk, I think 3 years, they are slaughtered. So the life of a cow is producing babies that either become a dairy cow or slaughtered, then they are confined in a small tight space that smells like urine and feces, and then they get milked straight for 3 years until theyre slaughtered. Some vegans do avoid animal products for other reasons too though, like hormones in your milk. Not sure why Fauna became vegan but yeah.

Its definitely more of an Asian thing, in my household we eat Mango (ripe or not) with sticky rice and its just in special occasions. With Ice Cream, it can work but it depends on the flavor that's for sure (cheese, purple yam, or mango itself can work but that's more of a thing in my country).

Mango with stick rice drenched in coconut oil isn’t weird. Just wait until you hear my grandfather used to eat mango with plain rice.
