To be fair, if you dont live like a damn roach or other vermin, you can go a long way without bed sheets... I wouldnt put on sheets if it was not for the somewhat special matress (backpain) which I have to pay x2 times as for a normal matress... whoch you get a standard one for like 30€ (which is something like $35). Also if you dont sweat a lot or work in customer service, there is really no point in bathing every day - like seriously, taking a bath every day is a total waste of water generally speaking. If you work alot and get gritty, taking a shower is more than enough...
@Xonarag3 жыл бұрын
@@Randleray It's quite normal to sweat and shed skincells etc in bed so a sheet is definetly recommended if you want to use your matress for more than a year. It might not have immediate health detriments but it will get pretty nasty after a couple month even if it might not be visible.

It does happens especially for those of older gens that were not really well off previously: e.g. my parents and grandparents also doesn't know they need to put or change that the sheets frequently as they didn't have the luxury to do so during ww2 (my grandparents escaped from China during WW2 from the Japanese) and post war (both my mum(in TW) and father (in HK) side were suffering from extreme poverty as a result of the war). Thus the practice transferred to me and my brother, which I think the same happens for Chloe's family. "Yada! Yada! Yada!" - Sakamata Chloe

Poor girl, she must have been so embarrassed. She has just never been shown these things that a lot of us take for granted. I really hope someone shows her in a less public way.

I take shower once in two days (or after workout) before bed, and I change my sheets every 3 months no problem. I really don't sweat a lot. People have such different standards, for me washing bedsheets every week would be completely unthinkable. Chloe is definitely yabe but for me completely understandable.

That one time Lui-nee had to explain what bed sheets are to a genmate with a straight face
@slitization3 жыл бұрын
My main takeaway from this is Lui actually taking the time to educate Sakamata and even ordered sheet for her, instead of just laughing and mocking her (like what I would've done lol), damn.

I can't remember the last time I got so attached so quickly to a hololive pair. But Lui and Chloe have such great chemisty together, they're genuinely so funny

Oh my goodness……thanks for the clip and translation!! Lol I think Lui handled the conversation well and not shaming her lol! Very mature of her. I’m glad she told her about bed sheets LOL…yabai

At least Lui's a good sport about it. I don't want to judge Chloe too harshly.

The more I know Gen 6, the more I know that Chloe was the last one to join to the group, something similar to Subaru.

I wasn't really interested in Chloe, but damn, her habits hit hard. It doesn't matter if this is true or just a character, it is enough that it can be true. Like me learning from other people at age of 16 that you should bathe more often, not just once a week. But my family was poor when growing up, so I just wasn't aware of some things. She radiates the same enrgy.

She does seem to have had a rather sheltered and very poor upbringing

Chloe gets more relatable by the day, although you might be right that it could just be roleplaying. Anyways, it's not that I didn't know about cleaning your sheets or bathing, but I connect with the experience of growing up in an unusual family.

i can relate. never knew you had to change wash bedsheets or even blankets growing up. i just sleep on a coverless mattress now, i had a sheet but it would constantly come undone while i slept, so i go so annoyed to the point that i just decided to throw it out a long time ago.
