While this feels just right that they don't have to feel obligated. It doesn't mean they shouldn't think about it or shot it down without consideration. Imagine some fans that truly want an event from EN. As someone who played Minecraft and had enjoyed it, my first go-to when watching Minecraft streams would either be JP or ID. Both of those branches genuinely enjoy Minecraft which is something alien to EN tbh.

@@HudaefCares EN just doesn't like planning stuff as a group tbh, alot of their project got cut half way and most of the big event that is completed, it always Ame who planned it, and she often plan it by herself. time zone could be another problem, but look at how NijiEN planning event, i think that planning another game like Mario kart or smth that is not require a major amount of time can work just fine. EN in general just didn't wanna plan stuff

@@HudaefCares Ame hosted worms tourney, Calli with Jump King competition, I dunno who hosted the Among Us/Gartic Phone collab. Most HoloEN event/tourney made either for HoloEN or branching to HoloID/StarsEN. I think the only 3 branches event that hosted by EN was Calli's jump king tourney iirc.

Baby steps. ID didn't even thought that they could make their own Minecraft server initially. EN should just focus on having more fun in minecraft (new gen might brought a fresh wind), and if they do ideas and plans will flow naturally.

ame has all sorts of ideas and big projects. fauna as well. ina is pretty creative but i don't know how creative she is with making game activities. maybe she can collaborate on the design and function after the general ideas are coined. as for the others, i can't quite tell.. bae seems alright for doing general construction etc. now all that's left is finding a time to host and a time to create. they did make plans for holding a festival event though, but that has not taken off in any meaningful way...

Everyone seems content to stick to their individual projects which is fine but means unless one of the Advent girls takes charge we are unlikely to get a EN themed event.

I remember Gura & Calli talked about having their own festival after seeing Usaken Summerfest. But that just it, nothing really happened after that. I think it's not about skill issue or different timezone factor or anything like that. What EN members lack is dedication. And motivation. I mean, take JP Sport Festival for example, that started by just 2 member, Miko & Mio. You know how hard Miko & Mio worked for their 1st Sport Festival. Or they can do like how Usaken work with their Summerfest. Involving other members for all branches. I'm sure other members from JP & ID would gladly help EN preparing for their event.

Miko has started the first jp sports festival as a way to get as much membera as possible to play some games together, speak with someone they rarely colab and have some fun. She has worked almost nonstop and could make it only with mio and subaru's help. So the only things en need are an idea they could make event around and some dedication.

HoloStars EN Minecraft Server have a lot of builds but in terms of multiple buildings and facilities, the girls still outdo them. I saw Shinri release a video of him flying around the entire Server and it made me realize the girls still outdo them in the number of buildings and facilities built. The only issue would be playtime because the girls don't play anymore except Fauna (and others when there's new updates)

Sadly, most of EN with any regularity to finish a project besides Fauna and so it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy where nothing gets done and then they compare themselves to the other branches becoming even more demotivated. We'll see what happens with Advent, but none of them claimed to be huge minecraft fans. EN has trouble getting collabs put together in general so an event by them is going to be really hard.

Kiara is just being realistic, if the members of holoen (except for fauna) aren't interested in minecraft or just don't have the time, what can the two of them do by themselves? Kiara's also probably the only one on EN with the leader-like qualities and passion to orchestrate such an event. And of course, like a DnD character sheet, those are her boons. While I agree JP and now ID's sports festival are amazing (even more so with mods), EN doesn't have to make a grandiose festival like those. Making an annual event like summer festival but in EN ways will also be great. The most important thing is after all, to have fun. There's no point in making a grandiose event if you're not having fun organizing it. And no matter how simple the event, it will still make great memories if the organizers and participants are having fun.

Fauna, Ina and Ame can probably come up with something creative so not all hope is lost. EN just doesn't play Minecraft as much as ID and JP. They just need a little guidance and fortunately Fauna has proven many times that she can be a leader even as soft spoken as she is. So all they really need is effort from everyone, Fauna as "project manager" , Calli using her dad voice and no one bring up Atlantis. I also kind of like how EN is the countryside, JP is the city and ID is a futuristic megalopolis. It adds dimension to their server.

Yeah but she is also being fairly realistic, its gonna take a lot of effort from everyone to even do remotely what ID and JP has done on a minecraft scale. EN doesn't really do minecraft as much as the others and there is plenty of room for improvement. But at the same time, its totally up to them to do it too. Fauna is the most gamer, alongside Ame, both being interested in MOBAs and shooters. The rest don't come from a competitive/pvp gaming background, having only tried games like Apex after joining only because of the huge vtuber culture around Apex. Also, EN have a big disadvantage of being split between timezones, so it's harder for them to organize collabs and practice together. Idk, I think her concerns are reasonable.

On the one hand, yeah EN is amazing and can FIGHT to the levels of JP and ID if they put their mind into it On the OTHER hand, what she says is true. Specifically ORGANIZING MINECRAFT JP and ID are in another level. JP has advantage in numbers, ID has advantage on grinders (not JUST Kaela), EN doesnt have people that care much for minecraft so it will always be at the bottom of that food chain... and I don't think anyone in Advent will tip the escale (I could be wrong though) Basically I agree with the sentiment of not surrendering, but I also get WHY it happens specifically in Minecraft

Her attitude fully came through in Unite tournament. Kiara complained multiple times about not knowing what her skills did, and Fauna asked her each time to read her skills which Kiara dismissed. Compare that attitude with Roboco who was crying recently because she thought she wasn't good enough for the Apex tourney. She's given up on EN being competitive with the other branches when she's part of the problem.

Although it is what you can expect with players who are a little more dedicated and have had a little more time compared to EN, I feel that EN girls can do amazing things even better than JP and ID girls. It is the classic vision of comparison between colleagues within a field or world and feeling that "it doesn't matter what I do, I am not at their level" and it is worse when a large part of the fans does not help them to stop feeling that way either. What a community of fans says or makes "humor" making these comparisons affects them a lot and I am very sorry. I honestly hope that the girls continue to improve and do great things, Fauna does what she can but the others must also do their part and stop looking at what they do as if it were nothing compared to the other branches of the same tree.

Fun Fact: ID Bros are known for their competitiveness in this kind of sports festival even from our childhood. I mean, we do this irl (Lomba Agustusan) every years, specifically 17th of August. It's a part of our culture to celebrate the Independence Day with a lot of activities such as playing traditional games. That, and also there is a dedicated Minecraft builder among them lol (Moona, Iofi, Risu, Kaela). But wawa, do not feel obligated to do the same thing they did, like hosting the same events. You guys really dont have to.. ID just like doing things that makes them busy outside they real life stuff.

EN girls are very independent, they are not characterized by doing things together because there is no leader who brings them together to do something, I don't think the situation will change with HoloAdvent since they seem to be very independent between them and I don't see any really taking the leadership to promote an activity among the entire EN branch.

Management in EN had a big shakeup about a month ago, Gura came back to streaming regularly around the same time (Japan trip in the middle interrupted it but she was working). Council is working on something in Japan, so they are all in uncomfortable times at the moment, though Fauna is waking up early to keep her normal slot when possible.

JP and ID have a big advantage: Timezones. It's significantly easier to organize a mass Minecraft build when everyone is with a similar time zone. Japan has one, ID has 3. In North America alone, there are 6, plus you have to factor in Kiara in European central time and Baelz in Australia, IRyS in Japan, and then there's Calli who is always jetting between Japan and America. It's a logistical nightmare to get anything significant done.

Uh that's not really an excuse. The Summerfest isn't built in 1 stream. The first sports festival was built 80% by 2 people then helped out by other members on their own time when they can. The ID sports festival area isn't built by everyone needing to gather they built it on their own time when they can. ENs biggest hurdle is no one is a dedicated Minecraft player WILLING to sacrifice time for an event. Out of all the branches the JP are the busiest outside of stream with constant meetings and recordings most of which take a half a day to finish yet they're still able to hold plenty of events and usually the ONLY time they meet up as a group is during the announcing of the event. The recent usaken Summerfest was announced by 3 people BUT the actual work will be done individually when the talents can

All they need is a Leader. Leader who's willing to take the unwanted job of making proposals for the said events and meeting back and forth with management regarding permission and help with many technical stuff. Leader who is willing to gather everyone in one boat, one way or another. And leader who will lose more time than other in the said project, as long as the other willing to participate. It's already been well known that in the past, Moona and Ollie tells us about how they make the proposals for the events. How it needs to include this and that. How they need to talk with their M chan multiple times. And how Kaela then suddenly offering to help them with the proposals, and then finally the ID committee was kinda formed at the time to handle this big project. How much they did and how much help they got from the management, only them would know. But it's still mainly those 3 that was moving to make sure this big ID sports festival this years realized. They don't need 9 ID members to meet offline to make this event happening. That's why EN members not meeting Offline much is not that big of a problem too. And as many people know too, they don't need to "make big building" Project. From this events example in Itself, the ID girls also ask the help of the Community. So yeah, they don't need to do it themselves On the JP side. We know that the very First Sports festival was birthed by 2 people too. Mainly Miko and Mio, with Subaru's help. And then many help with the construction When They Have times. Most doesn't even built in JP prime Time to gather people to work on project. It's mainly night time to morning JP time. So yeah. EN can do it too. They juat need a Leader that was willing to spearhead this project.

I honestly think that if Ame wanted to make it happen she could figure it out. Especially with Shiori bringing some more coding prowess to the team. I just don't see her motivated to imitate another group's idea

EN having multiple timezones instead of 1, like JP and ID, has always been an obstacle for them to make collabs and projects togheter, so people should take that into consideration. JP and ID can have offcollabs easily and also share culture and nationality, it's more easy for them to work this types of proyects than EN.

Nobody in EN are passionate about minecraft other than Kiara and Fauna. ID have a bunch of skillful grinders and JP has the numbers/passionate players to contribute. That's not being negative that just being completely honest.

I don't think anyone in EN is lazy. Objectively, they aren't. It's called a lack of interest, and yes, in many cases, a lack of experience with MC... Because they don't find it that interesting like the Asian branches.

Not only to viewers, but to other hololive members so that more people will attend or willing to help the project. Besides, what makes Minecraft fun is not the game itself imo. If it’s not fun, why not making it more fun? That is the real issue I think.

When she visit ID, she see a whole family of ID having fun with no filter. Especially her interaction with Reine and Kobo. How Kobo and Ollie interact with each other. So her desire is want to be a part of ID family because of the friendliness and filterless ID relationship is.

@@HoloProEnjoyer She's good at Japanese so I always wondered why Kiara isn't just constantly on the JP Minecraft server and gaming with more JP talents considering there isn't a language barrier. If I was in her position I'd want to hang out with more JP people than EN. Unless they don't like/aren't allowed to fraternise outside their circles of course.

To be fair I like EN server more than JP. It has its rustic charm. Maybe not as impressive, but cozy and homely. ID is superior one in every way, no contest.

The contrast reminds me of "Country Mouse City Mouse" parable, I like to at least enjoy that kind of contrast, at least I want to enjoy the inverse of what real world is (EN side, very urban, JP side half-urban, ID side is basically a SEA-side most of the places).

EN - spaced out builds, traditional Minecraft style, US-style JP - closely knit communities and builds with lots of content making pranks and traps, Japanese-style ID - structured and planned out, with zones for each area. A mayor resides in the server that manages unity and sometimes direction is rotated between the members, ID-style(?)
