I mean this is very early Babymetal, when it their sound was kind of Idol-Pop turned metalish, but yh this sounds a bit more "synthetic" than the original. hearing them all sing the chorus at the same time is heavenly, i always love multiple people singing a heavier song like this. nerissa's voice is beautiful throughout (especially that ending), but i love biboo's part near the end as well, i feel like i can hear her smiling as she sings, it brings a cuteness to the slightly menacing lyrics and overall sound of the song. i love when i can hear singers having fun, and this is definitely the case with all the girls. all the girls bring something important but i didn't wanna write a huge tangent lol.

@@ghost321000 idk i feel like it adds to it because in the beginning verses they haven't really sang at the same time (not counting the 'asore's and stuff), so when they do start to do it together it's a completely different sound, i find it impactful. would you have liked it better if they built up to it throughout the song or something like that? i guess getting the big chorus at the end would be more rewarding.

@@chirimoyan Dont get me wrong, I loved every minute of this song but there are moments where i feel like they could've leaned harder on their more powerful vocalists, though i understand why they didnt. Nerissa for instance surprised me, it's very difficult to approach Su-Metals level of talent and skill but she crossed into that range. At least in my opinion. In terms of what this song is about and how the song is structured the girls were exactly where they needed to be and at ranges where they wouldnt completely outshine one another. To be honest though I kind of want to hear their individual renditions of this song with the group taking turns providing back up vocals for Yui and Moas bits.

Ok, this is kinda eerie, there was a period of time a good few years back when I was absolutely obsessed with Babymetal, I had them on repeat and even saw them live twice, but after a while they became purely another band that I’d listen to when it took my fancy, bye bye obsession. And then last night, all of sudden I remembered how much I used to listen to them, and I stuck on a few songs for old times sake, even saying I wanted to see one of their shows again. And now I wake up this morning only to discover that Advent have done a cover of one of their songs, haven’t even been back into them a full day yet haha, it’s like they knew, bless XD This is such a sick cover, good job girls, killing it as always :D

The cover overall sounds great, but the audio quality seems to have suffered from compression issues that KZbin brings. The vocal audio sounds muted and static in the background of the rest of the music at times when the any vocals are in harmony. Solo vocals otherwise sound clear.
