鳥頭🦆 English has "birdbrain" which means something similar but not just for forgetfulness. Quite a few clippers used that translation for this scene because of "bird".

I think the english word 'bird-brain' includes the meanings of idiot and fool.. something like that... The japanese word 'tori-atamaとりあたま鳥頭' has no such meaning, and can only be used for someone who is forgetful. so I avoided translating it as Bird-brain, what do you think?

@@holopicks Correct, it does have those meanings. While watching other clips I assumed they had the same meaning, but because of your translation I googled 鳥頭 and discovered that word is only for forgetfulness. Other clippers used it either out of carelessness or for the ホロ鳥 joke. I like the ホロ鳥 joke and how Subaru responds to it, but it's great to see so much effort in translating details like this.
