I’ve read that the EPS isn’t as clear at the 507. I assume that it’s the same glass, and that could be caused by the fact that there are 2 panes instead of 1.

My experience with just dot I’m getting star burst and 32 moa is distorted/skewed when moving up and down on the eps carry. My 507k is crisp and clean.

I got an EPS Carry when the first shipped. 6moa red dot. Last week I had to send it in to Holosun because it stopped working.

Damn that sucks. If you need another optic let us know. We haven’t heard much about the EPS reliability yet. We do know holosun takes like 1.5 months to fix stuff which we think sucks.

I got a carry mrs green and I'm not sure if I'll stick with it because of the second lense now there's glare from the emitter showing green on the edges of the glass my 407k dosen't have that problem

My green 6 moa EPS Carry was just delivered yesterday and will be going in my Macro XL. I also have the green 6 moa 407k going on my 365X.

@@freedomgorilla1 I mounted it and my 407k this morning when I came home from work. I love the EPS Carry. Both are 6moa, but it seems like the dot is much more cleaner on the EPS Carry than the 407k.

Does it have the cut already to make it optics ready? If so plate 2 is the RMR plate but then you’d have 2 plates stacked on each other which i wouldn’t recommend. So instead I’d use this chpws.com/product/hk-vp9-to-holosun-407k-507k/

Hey man, would you say the EPS full size is too wide/bulky for the og P365? I was thinking of getting it and milling it into the slide, but if it makes a significance difference i may just settle for the 407/507k line for the p365. I also have a cz p-01 that's already milled for K footprint if the EPS full size would fit better on that one!

I have the og P365 too (not optics ready) and in my opinion the Carry fits better. The CZ P-01 is a compact so I believe the Carry would fit that better too, or the 407/507k. You could use the full sized EPS, might have a slight overhang though, but it's totally your preference.

Depends on how big of a window you want. But probably the eps Carry to have less overhang on the slide.

Does the aspherical glass on the eps carry vs the 407k make a difference to the optic? I have astigmatism and the 407k is usable but not perfect, I’d love to improve anyway I can.

For me, the most important dimension is the deck height. Is there a difference between the Carry and full size? I'd like to be able to cowitness the stock irons on my Sig XTen.

There isn’t a difference. Only if you use the rmr adapter plate w the full size

Does EPS carry have a thinner base to allow for seeing iron sights better than the 407K/507K?

No the eps carry and the 407/507k have exactly the same deck height

I have a custom slide for 508T. Would it be able to mount the EPS without a plate?

No you need a plate. You have an RMR slide. The eps is a k series footprint. It comes with an rmr plate though so it will Mount but you will have the plate

i just got the eps carry msr gr and its redicle seems alot smaller than the 507k

The eps carry and 507k both use the mrs reticle so 2 moa dot and 32 moa ring, there shouldn’t be a noticeable difference. Other than that how are you liking the eps carry?

I want a EPS Carry for my Taurus Raging Hunter 454 Casull but wish they came with a picatinny rail mount out of the box. I believe ADE is the only one that makes a rail for the K series and EPS/EPS Carry footprint but I'm concern about quality and durability on a 454 recoil. Input, anyone?

You are right. Onhunt too. I think their mounts will work fine. Just use Loctite on the bolt

I ordered the 407c, 507k and then the EPS carry. 407c was wrong footprint even though they marketed it for compacts, 507k had a shit dot on it. I hope this EPS carry 2 moa is the winner for me.

Not that we’re aware of. Both are likely similar. The only thing we’ve heard help some people with astigmatism is green dots vs red

I have astigmatism in both eyes. Smaller dots are better.no difference between open or closed emitter, but keeping it debris free is important, so closed is preferred. Also, I find red to be cleaner than green, except under nods.

Though it isn't a perfect system, it is just a good failsafe. Sure, it isn't likely that you will wvwr be in a situation whwre you won't be able to replace the battery. But if it ever does go out at the worst time and you really can't get a battery immediately, it is nice to know that you can just use the solar panel. It doesn't hurt the design or cause any negative changes, so why not?

supply chains tend to fail at the worst possible times, such as in the middle of a global pandemic while massive violent riots are occurring all over the place and then all of a sudden, you cant buy toilet paper. If their ever were a time when you couldn't readily buy battery's, its also highly likely that it would be a time that you'd be relying on that pistol. So yea...we like the solar fail safe. Its like having a backup water supply. Hopefully you don't need it, but if you do, you'll be glad you have it. Defensive firearms are mostly only used at the range anyway, so i could basicly say the exact same thing about carrying a firearm to begin with. Most people will go their entire lives and never draw that weapon in self defence, and yet, millions of us carry. Why? because its better to have it and not need it...... Solar back up same thing.

Not really, its morso its cheap and rugged only red dot ive seen more rugged is an RMR, but that has its own issues.
