It all started with the Subaru dance and now the Holotori dance

and that only started after chat started the ever-important gaslighting of Subaru as a duck. Just imagine if chat didn't gaslight Subaru. The AU would be Subaru being a normal human who's whole thing is about being an outdoorsy/ athletic girl and we'd get progressively toned pictures of Subaru's Navel, and that would be her embarrassment point... well we still do get that, but just without the duck, and that would just be a sad AU.

@@syaondri sadly this will be a greater challenge than gaslighting Subaru. It's as challenging as getting Kaela to stream only for 2 hours and getting to go to sleep in the same day, that's how challenging that is. (As for context why, Kaela was also approached by Kiara to talk about holotori and her views about being called a penguin, probably scouting her out to see if she would be interested in becoming a holotori member. Her response was that it really bothered her/it upset her and that she really doesn't want to be viewed as a penguin. Which is why the only latest "jokes" of her being a penguin is 7-9 months old now, so it did have an effect on her viewers (though they themselves adopted the penguinification as kaela's penguin fans, I guess). Which also correlates to her viewing herself as a gorilla, it seems (referencing her animated intro of gorraela running towards the camera and her yukata reveal having gorilla references). As for the moment, we don't have more things that point to her as gorraela, like custom emotes (I think) or custom notifications. But again, gaslighting Kaela will be a Kaela level challenge. Hope you are up for a very VERY long gaslighting grind.

Ckia is another alter ego, a "younger sister" or as Ckia thought she's more of "Kaela, but from an alternate universe" where the names of things there are reversed in letters. Also Goriela is Ckia's bodyguard and best friend

I'm sort of embarrassed how many times I've listened to the original. It's soooooo catchy. It's very common in Hololive to hear English speaking members sing in Japanese. This is one of the rare chances to hear Japanese members sing in English (thank you Lui and Subaru)

As amazingly fun as this song is, you telling me you never heard Alice&U from Risu?? Dude you are missing out, it is excellent. Risu is one of the best singers in Hololive. (It is a really nice song, thought not necessarily as fun as Holotori Dance, which might be one of the most fun songs I have heard in a while if not qualitatively "the best".)

Chloe can read but she is not as good at speaking english. Watame got rather good at understanding english also by now same for Nene.

Yes she was HoloJP but she was at that time the only American (before Myth) in the Company, and English is literally her Native Language. Coco Learnd Japanese much much later and was still learning at the time she joined Hololive, i remember her debut where i was like wait wtf Kson is in HOLO !! (I follow her long before she joined Hololive). But then we should add Haato chan also. Ever since she came back from Australia her english got worse and worse. Then for a while got much better again because she was hanging out with Calli and Kiara alot for a while and eventually it kinda balanced out to being pretty decent untill her hiatus.

I mean, the more likely explaination is that there's a delay in the system so that what the viewer is getting is the video lined up with the drumming but what he's getting is the video slightly ahead of the drumming. Though I'm lead to believe he's actually just that good and it's more down to the way rythems in songs actually work (there's a Lot of patterns and natural A goes to B goes to C under circumstances XYZ, apparently). Particularly complicated ones that do something non standard can and do throw him off from time to time, after all.

Always love your Hololive stuff, Jerod! I agree, there's been some FANTASTIC stuff coming out from Holo lately and it's been awesome hearing you play them! This one in particular is REALLY fun, and it's even better because the HoloTori girls have been trying to make this a group for a long time. I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks this is short. For the music video it works well, but the song feels like it’s missing a third verse group (like a solo section) and then one more buildup and chorus. Even with that though, I can’t stop listening to this song, it’s so good!

@@paracame8162 Plans are (or at least, this is my understanding of what Kiara said) that HoloTori, as a unit, isn't getting any bigger. Probably 5 members is sort of the biggest such a group can be before you start having pretty major downsides to go with the upsides of adding new members, in terms of actually fitting people in and giving them their 'fair shair' of lines and screen time and so on. It's also the point beyond which fans start not really keeping track of all the members and going 'wait, they were in that group?' when it comes up later. These are connected issues, of course. Not to mention, the more people you have to coordinate the harder it is to actually get any given project off the ground.
