Yes, she retired several years ago and Major Ryan Nowlin was promoted to her position.

actully there was three string instruments and it was also one of the best transcriptions ive heard, coming from a 5 year trained classical pianist

First of all, String Bass is already used in many conert bands. Second, the harp and piano are NOT string instruments. The harp, which may conatin strings, is a PLUCKED STRING instrument. The piano, which also has strings, is a KEYBOARD instrument.

@@nikoskorick2889 Just because a piece doesn't use the entire orchestra doesn't mean it can't sound good. Vaughn Williams' _English Folk Song Suite_ is evidence of that. The orchestral version is nice but the concert band arrangement is almost superior in every way. But yeah this isn't one of those pieces, The Planets needs an orchestra. Doesn't sound full without it.
