I'd say I notice some xtra bit of power on the holy paladin. Is it enough to make it present in the meta, probably not. Again there are still existing problems when trying to line it up with the stronger healers. Damage, Half your toolkit being purgeable, No 1 minute defensive CD for your team, not strong enough healing. I'd say holy paladin is probably best out of the struggling healers simply because it has windows where it can do some good healing. Still would love to see other things of holy pala like the un-nerfing of wings, or cd reduction as its currently the worst healer cooldown in creation, the return of 1 minute sac or at least buffing Sacrifice of the Just to 30 seconds instead of 15, Some form of dispel protection on our BoP and freedoms via some backlash the enemy faces or a buff to my dispelled teammates (healing, %basesd healing increase, dmg reduction, enemy suffers damage, minus movement speed etc.) I've been trying to throw in some more holy lights. I didn't in the past cause it costs a lot of mana and the healing was ok. Now I realize, 80% of the time I probably won't win on mana and the actual healing of holy light does feel nice. On average 1.8m-2m is pretty good. Really we're just in the waiting room for the 20th anniversary changes which I can't be more excited for! I mean, deadmines, updated tier models, reworks, NEW ASCENDANCE FORMS!!?!?! I CAN'T WAIT! Don't take my word for the holy pala, get on yours and see what you can do :)

I love the videos! I just found your channel and I'm trying to get into healing in pvp and they are awesome! I do have a question about holy shock specifically. I can't seem to get it to work for the mouseover, is there anything specific you use or do I just need to learn to play a certain way? Thanks again!

Glad you like the videos! As for holy shock, I currently have the mouseover setting enabled in combat settings to mouseover all my spells rather than create mouseover macros for everything! So if I hover over my party frames, my HS will heal and if I hover over my enemies HS will damage :)

TY! It would be a smidge bit cleaner if i didn't have weakauras for my standard buffs like Infusion of Light because for whatever reason, the normal proc animation doesn't show for me :)

Glad to see you sticking around on my journey! It's not easy, some uploads I'm too prideful to look at but it all serves as educational purposes for WoW PvP :). I currently use sArena as my enemy arena frames addon. Simple, not too big compared to gladius. It tracks everything to trinkets, DRs, Buffs and offensive CDs like Power Infusion, Icebound Fortitude and Trueshot as well as Debuffs like my Hammer of Justice. sArena has done me justice over the years so I haven't changed it :)

Such a cool spec I feel like I do pretty well with it in 2s can you possibly do some gameplay with lightsmith? I’d like to see how you play it to see if there’s anything I can improve on

Glad you liked the video and happy to hear the liking of my notes! :) I have 2 videos on my channel covering Lightsmith gameplay 1 a battleground and another featuring some turbo cleave games with @LvladenPvP in case you're interested! 2v2 is very different from 3's. The real demand for what a healer needs to excel, doesn't apply too much for 2's so really anything can succeed and achieve desired ratings. The difference between herald and lightsmith is pretty significant. Hero talents, although primarily meant for class fantasy, also serve as a way to fix what's missing with the spec. Herald fixes what holy paladin lacks, healing! Numbers, Consistency, spread healing, Burst healing! It gives us a HoT with the return of eternal flame, and dawnlights that serve as a major % of our spread healing, Potency with blessing of anshee procs buffing holy shock by 200%, Smoother rotation through guaranteed divine purpose procs and second sunrise to cause holy shock to cast again, Wings proccing dawnlights on multiple people and linking suns avatar for more healing. Herald also gives us more damage with those dawnlights, additional casts of holy shock, and suns avatar damaging enemies who cross it. Lightsmith doesn't really fix or help with any of the struggles holy paladin has. The only saving grace lightsmith has is proccing a lot of armaments which in rbgs, feels nice to give multiple teammates your armaments. Other than that, in 2v2 or 3v3, it doesn't feel as impactful unless it is Holy Bulwark. The reason I say that is because there's no overlap / stacking effect with proccing multiple armaments on your targets, it just simply increases its duration. If it had a stacking effect FE: If you procced multiple sacred weapons on your target, it'll increase its effect. 60k to 90k to 120k (random numbers I'm using), then it could be a bit better. Currently it doesn't have that. Your sacred weapons also scale off of attack power its really only suitable if your playing with melee. Sacred weapon dmg/healing procs on nearby allies / enemies instead of your actual target which can sometimes screw over your throughput, and your passives are pretty weak like Hammer and Anvil. The only window where you have power is during you wings as blessing of the forge will cause your sacred weapon to guarantee proc it's healing and damage. Lightsmith just doesn't have the same potency as herald. Of course it 2's, anything and everything can be played. I sometimes play melee wings lightsmith in 2s but for overall efficiency, you're going to have a much easier time in your games as a herald. There's really no complications with lightsmith in terms of certain things you need to do to excel. Not sitting on your armaments especially in the opener I dump both charges and press them off cd throughout the match. Divine guidance heals a lot so make sure you are pressing consecration rotationally as it can easily heal / damage for over a million at 5 stacks. And that's really it for notable things to do as lightsmith. Hope this helps :)

Hello! Holy Pala rotation is very simple! I also have trufigcd enabled incase you wish to follow along! Of course before I go into the rotation, make sure your beacon of light and fatih are always applied to your targets! As herald, Mostly I'm prioritizing [Holy Shock] and [Eternal Flame] as these 2 will be the main source of your healing weaving between the 2 when you've hit 3 holy power to dump on eternal flames. There is other stuff you're mixing into your rotation. Pressing [Holy Prism] or [Barrier of Faith] off cd to proc your [dawnlights] which is another great source of healing. I currently run [Morning Star] over [Gleaming Rays] to buff my dawnlights constantly. It's max stacks is 10 with 50% increased healing to dawnlight but when you're in combat, by the time your Prism or Barrier rotates off cd it'll be around 5 stacks 25% healing increased. I still press off cd, I don't really like sitting on my holy prism for another 30 seconds to build up morning star stacks. Gleaming Rays is pretty weak, only 5% increased holy power spending healing/damage so long as a dawnlight is active. If it was a stacking effect like 5% for each dawnlight active, I'd like it more. Because I run [Truth Prevails] and [Righteous Judgement] and [Hallowed Ground] a lot, I'm regularly weaving in judgements into my rotation. Judgement is a very versatile spell applying [Greater Judgement] to make us tankier, generates a holy power, Heals me through truths prevail, and has a chance to create a consecration which will suppress all snare effects while standing in it. Considering all this, I try to press Judgement off cd. In terms of casted spells, If you're experiencing downtime throughout your rotation (down holy shock charges, no holy power to spend on eternal flame) you can throw out some flash of lights that do ok healing. [Flash of Light] only acts as a filler, nothing more. I don't cast flash of light all too often, instead I cast [Holy Light] combined with [Divine Favor] and of course a [Infusion of Light] proc to get 190% increased healing on my Holy Light which on average hits for 2mil. As lightsmith, your rotation doesn't change at all. If you have [Divine Guidance] you're weaving consecration into your rotation at 5 stacks as this will do a lot of healing and damage, even if it is split. I'm pressing my armaments the minute they come off cd to constantly rotate them. Other than that, same ol' same ol'. Hope this helps! :)

Yes! I currently have the mouseover setting enabled. Since I do arenas and rbgs, it can be a bit confusing swapping mouseover and party binds so I just stick with mouseover for all my shenanigans :)

Bud been waiting for another video to ask you this. Is there a way to make healers in my team show? That way I stick to them and don’t loose track. I use healers have to die and it helps show enemy healers with a big Red Cross. What can I do to show friendly healers in a similar manner we? It would help me stick around and also easier to peel for them. Help :(

Hello! So there's a couple things you can do. Standard marking healers with raid icons or telling the party leader in your arena to mark your healer is good. You can also watch this video by cdew kzbin.info/www/bejne/pqquZpudrbd5n6Msi=RhNtyEgLknxmeu2_ which showcases his way of using Arena Friendly Markers and BetterBlizzPlates to display a large arrow above his teammates head instead of a standard healthbar! Very useful and something many high end players use / recommend :)
