But when I was working I put a lot of overtime and when I could not work no more they took me at ssi that they could not justify giving me$6400. A month so they gave me $1500 . The raise last year cost me $8.00/mth and the one this year just cost me $15.00/mth. My SSD went up $50.00. My rent went up $40.00 and my Food Stamps went down $25.00. $15.00/mth loss to me. I hope we don't get any more raises, I can't afford it.

I'll tell you that fucking what they give for increase for SSI recipients was just a lowest of the kind of help. cause $560.00 a month and still not getting the full amount cause of taking out for food and shelter that no one is paying for and it's a argument with social security office people over it to change the information is like talking to a wall and very disrespectful. Like I said for a family of three to four is cost of living just comfortable without getting out of poor status and for a single person it's actually 2000 thousand dollars a month to be comfortable and barely above poverty level of being dirt poor for people on SSI. Chuckie, you keep screaming about our Democracy! The USA is a Constitutional Republic, the operative word being Constitutional. The Constitution gives powers to the state. Those powers not specifically given to the states fall to the federal government. We have a lot of "Democracy" ways in the US, especially in our economy, but our government is a Constitutional Republic. I would think it would be good to understand that, especially for the people representing us, We The People. You all make me sick, Democrats and Republicans...you all seem to forget you work for us! I need help, but what I want is my beautiful country fixed before I leave this earth. Folks in my age group will tell you how great America was, but She has gone to hell. I learned my history and government at home from a WWII veteran. He always taught us that it was not only a right, but a responsibility to vote. When our elections are no longer fair and now the feds want to take that away from the states because they have passed state laws to fix the problem. The federal government needs to step back...the Civil War was fought over state's rights, which included slavery.
