When you flush at situation where if you dont enemy crawls to cover and can be revived its just mandatory. Playing this game should be fun so flushing just to hurt the other team as a "revenge" or something is childish.

But if you are a beginner and you get almost no kills, and you never win, securing one kill may make you think "at least I got one kill" and it feels valuable to you. Perhaps it has nothing to do with wanting to take revenge for such a guy.
