I have a Ford 4100 and everything I see looks exactly the same as mine. It is a very nice all around utility tractor. As for the oil leaks on the rear axel you will find it to be the 3 cover plates above the hydraulic filter ,very easy and cheap to replace. Had the same problem. DO buy 3ribed tires for the front end you will be a lot happier and safer with them especially if you have any slopes to mow.

Just finished the rest of the video. Yes, the power steering reservoir comes off completely as you surmised, filter is replaceable. The three point levers are supposed to move individually, one is your depth control (lift height control), the other is draft control (how hard the tractor will pull before giving up and lifting the arms). The dual hydraulic remotes are nice, you want to hook the lines to the implement so pushing lever to the rear makes it lift. My Dad has a 12ft batwing mower he pulls with a 4000 (tad less hp than yours) and one remote lifts, the other folds the wings. The little hose inputs up front are for a hydraulic oil cooler, some models have an auxiliary Hydraulic pump on the left side of the bell housing just to the rear of the exhaust manifold, with an extra filter mounted on it that almost requires the exhaust pipe removed to spin it off, if you had that, there would be two steel lines ran along side up to those ports. It was an option, just makes your hydraulics faster, it can be added as well. My unsolicited 2 cents on front tires, the three rib tractor fronts make it turn better when pulling or hauling any weight on the back, I've done the truck/trailer tire thing up front and they like to push and slide, making the wheel brakes constantly necessary to make turns. You do have front wheel weights I see, I have never actually seen those in person, likely worth more than a quarter what you paid for the whole tractor! You did good sir! I need to make a video on a 3600 I recently bought for $1800, it's very rough.. but runs great. Thank you for the video, I hope I was of some help.

Thanks for the input. Interesting that I can add a hydraulic cooler. Makes me wonder how hot the hydraulic fluid gets not being cooled.

@@ParkerMotorWorks The cooler was only put on when there was an auxiliary pump as well, ive never had an issue with either set up. Just made a short video of my 3600 with aux pump and cooler, as well as my 4610 without it. Pumps can be bought and added, but unless you had a serious hydraulic implement, it most likely isn't necessary. I will try to tag you in my video when I load it so you can see what I'm talking about.

It's come a long way. I'll have some more updates with it from some other parts and coke spring I'll have some bushhogging content with it. What other attachments would you run with it?

@@ParkerMotorWorks Well my 4610 is similar size and power and having run the older 4000s quite a bit, if the tires are loaded, they will pull a 10ft disc pretty well and a 10ft brush chopper, if you aren't in a hurry. I have pulled subsoilers and small chisel plows and a 3-16 mold board plow with a 4000. That size is very versatile, lots of pulling power in a compact, nimble package. My 4610 was set up with a front snow blade before I got it.

oil filters are a z9 which went on many 6 cylinder ford cars . fuel filters are lucas , can get other brands , better go see a farm machinery or diesel place to get filters and the drain plug, one lever is draft control and other is linkage hydraulic levers are to control the out lets on remote , eg if you had hydraulic top link the lever would make ram go out or in depending on which way flick the lever
