Mounted Cornet V in the Transept Hauptwerk (German Great), ameliorated a bit with the 4' Octave and the Reed division 8' Trumpet, also the Nave division 8' Trumpet and 4' Octave about 120 feet away. A bit of a stew... Right now, our Swell division is down with the rest of the West Organ. Looking forward to getting the West Blower back!

Wow! I bet I'll never get tired of listening to this rendition. The registration, the arr from introduction to the bridge then the modulation and last verse chromatic foot falling melody. It was indeed inspiring. Thank you sir for this powerful rendition.

With the pandemic and also ongoing refurbishments to the organ the last couple of years, our recital programs have been curtailed quite a bit - but I hope to get monthly recitals going again in the coming academic year. Also, I will be playing a recital Friday evening July 15 @ 7 pm - as part of the Alumni Glee Club reunion. The recital is open to the public, though entry to West Point requires either DoD ID or a Visitors' Pass. Visitor Passes may be obtained at the West Point Visitors Control Center - easily referenced on the internet. Thank you for your interest!

The West Point Cadet Chapel pipe organ is 355 ranks, 23,511 pipes - the world's largest all-pipe organ (no digital voices in the entire instrument) in a house of worship. Also, the world's third largest overall, behind Boardwalk Hall Atlantic City and Wanamaker's Department Store in Philadelphia. With maintenance work, the organ is about 65% operational - and when the West divisions are brought back up this fall, it will be about 92% operational.
