Finally someone with REAL STRAIGHT lashes. Thank you for your video. I keep coming across videos with curl in lashes and got so disappointed and then came across your video. Ive tried benefit roller lash, ysl, several dior. Nothing worked but this curl fix! OMG! Threw out all my mascaras and only use curl fix now. A pain to remove. Etude house does a removed. It’s really good.

Omg I know the feeling. I just use an oil based make up remover and it does the trick

I find the Kiss Me Heroine Make Waterproof long and curl mascara (haven't tried the volume and curl) is very good at holding curls for my Asian straight lashes. However some might not like it since it gives your lashes a hard, dry crunchy texture like too much hair spray. I personally don't mind that feeling since the curl stays all day.

Hi ! I am not Asian but Mexican and have straight thick lashes. One Mascara I have discovered works perfect on for holding the curl is the Suuqu waterproof mascara. (A Japanese brand) and also I used to use a curl fixer from Misha called Power Fix but it discontinued. I need to try this etude house thing. Thanks

Girl I use that same mascara in the regular tube curl fix and it is amazing for straight lashes!!!

Thanks for your recommendation i bought lash perm mascara and it's really holds the curls than other mascara not ideal but better. I don't have such mascara in my entire collection now I'm looking forward to buy Dr. Mascara fixer too..🤗🤗🤗

I'm into high-end mascaras. I tried diorshow iconic overcurl and the curler by YSL. YSL has a primer which I haven't used. I poked myself in the eye with the mascara so that's a no-go for me. I would recommend the iconic overcurl because it curls your lashes without clumping and no spider lashes either. It might give you length.

I'm not Asian, but I do have straight lashes - and they are very light brown, almost blonde. I have been looking for mascaras that work well pretty much since I started wearing make-up as a teenager and have never found one that I love. I finally started getting eyelash extensions which was a gamechanger! But... as you know there's a pandemic right now and so I haven't had my eyelashes done in a good four or five months. It is expensive to have them done so often anyway, but I sure do miss being able to wake up in the morning and not have to worry about putting mascara because it looked like I was already wearing some! lol. I will try a mascara tint on your suggestion and see if it helps! My lashes don't even want to curl when I use a curler. So frustrating.

Will definitely try the adding-tint version! I have straight lashes like yours and the wrong formula will make then droopy. Thus far, only 2 mascaras worked and 1 has discontinued aeons ago. The other one is lancome's hypnose but forgot the exact name, but it helped my lashes curled up a bit even when not usinf eyelash curler as well as adding length. I found the best trick when shopping for mascara is by trying them with my natural lashes uncurled..that way i know instantly when a formula weighs them down or not. But w pandemic still ongoing, will check the etude one. Have you tested laneige jet curling mascara?? If yes..let me know how it is. Thx again for the vid👌🏽🙂

My fav was Shiseido’s mascara base but they discounted it 😭 and I haven’t tried the laneige mascara yet. I’ll keep it in mind when these run out 😁

@@NadiaN question..have you tried the etude eyelash pdts minus eyelash curler? And does it still curl your lashes a bit? Because my left eyelashes tend to fall down if curled on regular basis🤦🏽‍♀️🙄

The waterproof wax content is what holds your curl. Most waterproof drugstore mascara will hold a curl. I’ve tried a few luxury brand waterproof mascaras and I don’t think they put as much wax in their formulas. My curl wilts halfway.

They do have their own remover for their mascaras, but I do use a oil base make up remover and it works just fine.

Lancôme had a waterproof one that holds a curl for asian lashes and helps with volume!

I was excited when I bought it along with the primer, yes the Lancôme waterproof mascara holds the curl but make your lashes look clumpy just with a second coat and for the ones we have short and sparse lashes doesn’t give u length and nether volume. The primer it’s the worst of them if u want to hold a curl, it’ll weighed down your lashes. Very disappointed they’re going back .
