This is basically a variation of the old March Brown spider, which was tied with gold rib instead of flash and no bead. One of my most productive patterns and a must have especially in Stillwater.

DUDE! i have been waiting so patiently for you to post a vid. you do an amazing job tying these flies and its so satisfying to watch. i plan on learning how to tie flies myself but i am currently saving to purchase the necessary tools required. thanks for all the tutorials😁 and yes, you should totally make some buggy look merch. on the merch it could say “nice buggy look” and have a grid of all the super “buggy” flies photos on it #flies #flies

Might not have been popping up on your feed we are back to daily uploads. You should give it a try and dont be hesitant to start super cheep to see if you like it. 100-125 and you would have a decent set up including a few flies to tie. After that if you like it upgrade the vice and you'll have a second for travel or to let a friend borrow if they become interested.

Love this fly! I’ve used some similar to this, I’ll give this one a try. I would absolutely buy some SWAG with your catchphrases! Please make them available! #flies

#flies ive always like the holy grail, Adding 2 beads also allows for more customization and different depths to floats. One of those patterns that i think will stand the test of time.
