It's interesting you touched on the packets. I set up three tanks recently, a Sea Monkey Ocean Volcano with Sea Monkeys (Made in USA), a Hydro Pets tank with, well, 'Hydro Pets," and a pack of Aqua Dragons as well (in a Sea Monkey tank). I treated them all the same with heaters and airlines and while the Hydro Pets and Aqua Dragons are doing fantastic, the Sea Monkeys died off entirely. Brand new set of packets and everything. I'm pretty baffled. If I can find a couple envelopes I'll have to redeem the guarantee from the package, I guess. Anyway, glad to see you set up this tank! It's such a fun tank it seems a pity to not set it up. :D As for aqua leashes I think I have a yellow one around here somewhere but I can't for the life of me find it at the moment. Honestly I want a blue one, though, mostly I think because it's rarer, lol.

Its my favorite set im glad your setting it up! Its gunna feel like forever waiting for the sea monkeys to grow up to use him!

Talking about how sensitive sea monkeys are to change... they are super finicky, but also, so resilient. The other day, unbeknownst to me, my son tipped my oldest sea monkey colony into the sink. I eventually went to the sink and noticed an empty tank on my windowsil. It must have been at LEAST 15 minutes because my son was by my side prior to finding it. I was devastated. My eldest two females and three males were in there. Something told me to check the sink. There was ONE male adult sea monkey that was caught in a drop of baby formula, thrashing about. I scooped him up with a plastic spoon without hurting him, somehow, and put him in my baby nursery, contaminated baby formula and all. Five days on, he is still alive, thriving and now mating in an adult tank, as are the babies I had in the baby nursery with the baby formula. 🤣

Also, this must be one of the coolest tanks. I wouldn't use the novelty function of it though. But it is cool.

He did end up dying two days later. He put up a good fight, though!

Yay, you started it. It’s a cool tank. Have light purple Aqua Leash (from website). Was mixing refills in 3/4 gal cube when this notification popped up and the Aqua Leash from website is sturdy. 88oz+ saltwater mixed, squeezed it a lot, top’s firm, very useful.
