I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (May 31, The Holy Trinity), we sang this as our Opening Hymn. It is #413 in Evangelical Lutheran Worship. On February 9, 1992, we used our pipe organ for the first time in worship. This was the first hymn that we sang on it.

Tonight, 4/13/2022, Ive decided to learn to meditate on Scripture and am listening about that to Erwin Lutzer. He mentioned the Holy Holy Holy verse in Revelation and him deciding to praise God every morning on awakening. So...I came to KZbin looking for that verse but found this instead. Just right to sing TO the Lord this song; it's not "CCM" and is a very pleasant version... Very nice voice HE gave you! Thanks for using it for Him!

***** Cover your head , no matter if you have hair or not. I wish to also encourage you by saying that my grandma has been cured by a brain tumour , she had all the symptoms , but yet not the actual disease . It became a mystery to those doctors and it is up to this day . God bless !

MonaLisa Dilberto, head coverings were a part of the culture of Paul's day and do not apply today. The prostitutes used to wear their hair loose and exposed. So Christian women wanted to distinguish themselves as chaste and under the authority of their husbands and Christ by wearing a head covering. This is no longer the case today. So head coverings are not an issue today.

Hi Bryan... is it possible to purchase this rendition anywhere online? I've looked for it on Apple iTunes without any success. My Father's memorial is tomorrow and it was his favorite hymn in church and I was hoping to use it. I have fond memories as a really small boy holding his hand while we stood in church looking up at him just belt this tune out with everything he had. Cheers
