I get all choked-up whenever I sing, or hear this song. Just imagine the spectacular moment when, as we the redeemed begin to sing the Song of Moses and the Lamb, the angels all fold their wings! Oh, the wonderful story of Redemption!

Thank You for posting this. I first heard this song when sung by my pastor at Immanuel Baptist church in Columbus, Ohio. Just imagine ... when the Angels must stand Silent, while WE the Redeemed in Christ, sing Redemption's story that we alone have known. Even so come Lord Jesus.

This Hymn has a beautiful Melody, and as a musician myself who sings and plays an instrument, and as a 3rd Gen Seventh day Adventist, we need to listen carefully to the words of songs like this, which were written by SUNDAY CHURCH authors, who did not have the enlightenment of The S.O.P. No where in EGW writings did she mention Angels of JESUS in Heaven "folding their wings" as if in shame, or embarrassment that they "cannot sing redemptions story" As a matter of fact, the Angels of JESUS CHRIST up in Heaven right now,---both KNOW THE STORY OF REDEMPTION and CAN SING ABOUT IT, Better than any human on earth either now, or in the future!!! The only part of Redemption's Story that they won't sing is the one that YOU, (Whoever you are in the whole world, put your name here) can sing "What JESUS DID FOR ME...fill in your name" But don't think for a minute that your Guardian Angel, who is also A RECORDING ANGEL, doesn't also know YOUR STORY personally, of what JESUS did for you!--Almost as well as you do!! What? He's been watching you and recording you your WHOLE LIFE! He even has baby pictures and video of you that "yo...mamma lost". Yes! What do you think God is going to use in the Investigative Judgment to show about your life? The Photo/Video/and Printed Transcript that your Guardian Angel made (aka "the books were opened" that book can include photo, video, & Audio and printed Transcripts of 1. every word you ever spoke 2. Biblically correct!: "When I sing Redemption's story, they will FLAP THEIR WINGS!! (Like a huming-bird) For ANGELS ALWAYS FEEL THE JOY THAT OUR SALVATION BRINGS!! And Yes, we will have wings also! see Luke 15:7 thru Luke 15:10 And yes, they will sing with us, JESUS'S Angels are not recluses that go "hide under the bed" When we sing Redemption's story. Also we saved Human beings/redeemed sinners, will have wings also, so we can flap our wings with them! They will teach US HOW TO SING!! Humans compared to them, we don't know much. We are the ones who are a bit intellectual recluses!!

"Angels never felt the joys that our salvation brings," because the heavenly angels are unfallen; they never sinned, and so have never experienced God's saving grace, never needed to be redeemed.
