Yeah, they must have different ideas from different areas. Our calzones were the same, the Stromboli was just mozz. The calzone was ric., and mozz. and toppings. I like the stombolis more. I haven't had one in a while! Now watching this I'm hungry!!!

This is more of a calzone. A stromboli has more of a hot pocket shape but they’re all filled with same ingredients.

@white vanilla completing this challenge was tough and they said that it weighs like 5Ibs. I think this stromboli had to be atleast 7Ibs max. I'm surprised they didn't add steak to it too.

Inquiring minds wanted to know. Based on this definition he was eating a calzone: The major difference between a calzone and a stromboli is how they are sealed. If you wanted a very straightford comparison, here you go: a calzone is like a taco, and a stromboli is like a burrito. Tacos and calzones are always folded. Burritos and stromboli are always rolled.

It's called a calzone, or "trouser leg". It's a nice concept. Just don't forget to leave a small hole, sometimes called a "chimney" for extra vapor to go out while it cooks.

I'm poo pretty sure that I couldn't finish that Stromboli today, @ age 53. Heck! don't think I could've finished it in my younger days, (when I was a MUCH bigger eater), either!! Back when I was about 14 or so, my Dad bought a Stromboli about this size, at a Pizza place, near Columbia, Pa. He split it between the 2 of us for lunch, & by the time I was done my half, I was just about in misery!!! I don't see HOW IN THE WORLD Adam was able to finish that thing off!!
