A tip I would love to give get Jewel crafting. The trinket Sapphire Owl gives you 42 int plus 2 sockets. I put my 34 int gems that comes out to be 110int from my trink that’s insane. Bis well into ulduar. Also cheap easy enchant for shield is 25 int cost 12 infinite dust

hei....Im new to wow started to lvl paladin as retri and was wondering if it is possible to heal lower level dungeons (up to lvl40-50-60) in retri spec? This might be really stupid questions but as Im new to the game I would like to have good dps while leveling and also learn how to heal for end game when I will focus on healing

It can be done if your tank is geared enough but be sure to at least have healing gear!

You do not have to have Devo Aura activated to receive 6% bonus healing like was said on a video. It works with any aura activated (check talent tooltip). As already mentioned crit > mp5. In my opinion your trinkets are really bad. As Holy paladins we should look for trinkets that: - gives tons of int, - restores mana, - have use sp buff to reduce Divine Plea debuff. The main reason why these stats are most important is that we do not have any problem with healing output. HL heals for like a tons, so picking any passive sp trinkets probably will give you only more overhealing. Haste trinkets are ok, but they can cause faster mana consumption. Haste helps with healing on time, but I think using precasting as much as you can and canceling cast when healed target did not received any dmg is enough to heal on time. If I remember well haste soft cap is below 700. In Ulduar gear I think is really doable. Crit in trinkets are always welcome, because spell crit gives you 30% of mana cost of the used spell back. For me best worth checking T7 trinkets are: - Greatness (gives tons of intellect, but remember that when Greatness passive is activated and it gives you 300 int this int goes to you with no mana (increases your mana pool, but won't give you additional mana, tldr: it is good time to use Divine Plea when Greateness is activated) - Soul Preserver (mentioned in a video) (mana restore on spell hit 2% chance, no internal CD!) - Figurine - Sapphire Owl (JC trinket, tons of int [via passive and gem slots], 2k free mana / 5min ) - Spark of Life (mana restore through nice amount of mp5) - Winged Talisman (basic mp5 + sp use, this trinket is nuts!) - Soul of the Dead (mana restore on spell crit) T8 worth checking: - Meteorite Crystal - Pandora's Plea T9 worth checking: - Talisman of Resurgence - Tears of the Vanquished - Solace T10 worth checking: - Glowing Twilight Scale Order of trinkets in every tier matters.

So based on what I've read, it doesn't actually affect Devo Aura at all - Aura Mastery affects Concentration Aura, your Resistance Auras and Crusader Aura. That's what I read about the spell !

Would glyph of shield of righteousness not be better than glyph wisdom? It decreases mana cost of it by 80% giving you pretty much a free attack to gain mana back on top of your white swings. Super cheasy but it works well haha

@@itsego_tv i’d have to politely disagree, currently i’m lvl 77 and I would have to cast 23 holy lights just to get 1 free one at a 5% deduction. With my current mana pool of 16000 mana 1 successful SoW proc is a 640 mana return pretty much refunding my entire holy light in two swings. So with the extra attack using basically a free shield of righteousness there is a very big chance i gain that mana back much quicker. I’m not trying to be a douche or anything i’m just breaking it down into actual numbers.

Exactly like Munsk said, if your tank is using Devo Aura and doesn’t have the talent then let them know you will use it If the tank does have it then use Concentration or Retribution Aura! In the event it’s in a guild situation, let your tank know to not choose it as a talent :)

Nice guide, although a couple of things need to be talked about. Improved Dev Aura is only viable if you dont have a resto Druid in your raid, since the tree form aura is superior and will overwrite the effect and works on all healers. I also like to run with the mana cost reduction for BoW and BoK besides the LoH Glyph, its miniscule but can be nice if you need to rebuff somebody midfight. Int enchant on your weapon is bis for all phases. In my opinion Mp5 < Crit, because crit not only gives you mana back, but also increases your healing throughput and therefore hps. If you ever get into mana trouble and run the Seal of Wisdom Glyph you just auto attack the boss every other swing and you get a ridiculous amaount of mana back, no comparison to the mediocre mp5 stats. Thanks for the guide, still very informative and Id like your opinion on these things.

Not Sure about that. Your heals a very high anyway so usually they dont benefit that much from sp or crit. Im currently hitting 15-17k crits. This results in overhealing all the time.

Also I would almost ignore mp5 crit refunds your mana 30% of cost. Gearing cit should be more efficient/effective than mp5

The reason you’d much rather stack Mp5 is because Crit already comes from Intellect and also since you’re only getting 30% back you’re still losing mana but with mp5 you get mana back rather than always having it lost

@@itsego_tv I am a nearly bis holy paladin and i would trade every single piece of haste/mp5 to haste/crit if i could, and i am doing so. There is no fight in this tier that justifys having any mp5 as holy, we have divine plea and seal of wis. I am using owl figurine and soul of the dead (will swapping to greatness in a week) and already i can just spam HoL for the entire fight, any grp with 5 healers and u end up with like 90% mana or more still, may aswell go full throughput. next tier it will be more valuable i imagine

I would add that if your MT is a Prot paladin, you should be judging Wisdom always not light. JoL is easier for your mt to keep up as it’s in the rotation

Prot paladin will always judge wisdom if there is a hpal in the group. Prot paladins will almost always run Wisdom unless they need the extra healing and don’t have another paladin in their group for any content.

@@Shoxlie why? Port pallys don’t need mana and since judgment is in their rotation it will be up 100% of the time. Not only that but it Actually hurts the holy paladin to judgment on cd. Not only that but judgments heal the same amount no matter what anddddd don’t even show up on parses.

Nope, its much easier for the tank to keep the buff up. The JoL healing is not relevant on logs or similar. Its really bad for a holy pally to use it, if you have another paladin in your group.
