It's been a stupid week for me. I'm in the US and only just this last Monday had a Pete & Bas video recommended to me. I was hooked instantly, but I had to watch breakdowns for the bars, and get caught up on UK Drill slang to really catch the full depth of the bars. I'm convinced - the sheer volume of life experience, criminal knowledge, musical knowledge, and the language of the street needed to bust out with alliteration, assonance, consonance and the sickest metaphorical schemes is undeniable.

I have friends who've never been to England in their lives that naturally and fluently use British slang (and even have accents) because of the music they listen to.
