@@yishaizukkol3099 My understanding: when Spy asks "are these his children", the first level of the joke is that the Scout's answer can be interpreted as a sex joke, that his sperm can swim, since they have reached their cherished goal. And then he says that the daughters can swim too, making it all a more harmless joke. The first time I read it, I decided that the joke was that the Scout couldn't swim, but I don't remember exactly such moments.

Even though i never read the comics, i found the finale very heartwarming and wholesome considering how long this went on. I read it yesterday, and i loved it all the way. It's insane how we all joked about this never releasing, and now it's real, first the bots being wiped out and now this. I'm glad this is over and all the mercs moved on with life. Now all that's left is for Valve to do a tease of the heavy update and then the game can finally be considered over.

While I'm happy that i got to see it and I did enjoy overall comic, I'm a rather disappointment that outside of Scout, Spy, Solider and maybe Heavy and Engie, rest of the mercs got little to no send of, like snajper says one line while demo and medic don't say anything (and Pyro for obvious reasons). It feels like a last episode of animated show where they couldn't get a hold of voice actors so they keep characters in the background so they don't have to say anything.
