Around two weeks ago my cousin tried to end her life.. After she failed at that attempt and was placed in a treatment center, my auntie, mom and some people from church went into my cousins room and we sang this song to get rid of all the demons and to pray that those demons would not touch her again. Then just last week my auntie said that my cousin as at so much peace now and her room feels different little does my non Christian cousin know that that is why!! Thank you Jesus for you presence we can feel safe in your presence and that nothing will harm us in your presence!

My Childhood was not one of the ordinary. I didn't experience the love, joy and innocence of childhood. From the age of 4, I was being sexually abused by my cousins. I didn't know it at the time. They used to call it "Playing the Game". Life went downhill from that point. I was now being raped by some other cousins; it was four of them in total. I was bullied at school, called all kinds of different names. It was at the age of 12 yrs I only then comprehended what had happened to me in my life. I was going to tell my parents but I was threatened by them and even choked one night. I became a living corpse from then on. I was a living dead. I was cold. I was just an entity in a body. Nights on end I cried myself to sleep from my demise. I felt dirty. Constantly bathing, trying to cleanse off their touch from my body. I felt like someone poured acid on me; it was eating me away daily, bit by bit, piece by piece. I was full of hurt, pain, anger and rage. Years past, and the pains grew stronger and stronger. Nothing quelled the raging inferno burning inside me. Day by day, I was becoming less human. I tried everything and nothing worked such as different religious prayers etc. Suicide was the only way out, the only solution to ease my pain. It would all soon go away I thought. One night I put a tape around my neck, and I was going to strangle myself, but something pulled me back. My teacher had told me about Jesus. I had nothing to lose, I had already lost the will to live, was too tired fighting to survive and too weak from daily battling. So I closed my eyes and prayed to Jesus. When I closed my eyes......I saw Jesus himself and He was holding a door. He grasped it tightly and was looking towards the sky praying. I said "Jesus, I need u in my life, I cannot carry these burdens again for they are too heavy, come into my life and take them and wash me from my sins." Then I saw him kneel down in front of me and said "If you had called me earlier, I would have come." I looked into His eyes and I cannot describe what I saw. It was so full of compassion, love, peace, joy and reassurance and most of all care. He touched me, and everything just vanished. All the pain, anger, hurt, broken heartedness, everything just vanished immediately, like it never happened! What I was searching for all these years, Jesus came and did it in seconds. He taught me how to love myself first when I hated what I saw in the mirror, how to forgive my transgressors when I only had hate for them and how to love His people, just as He loves me. This is my testimony, my testimony of truth of the great works that Jesus did in my life. He can do the same for you. Invite him in and accept Him as your savior if you haven't yet. He is all too willing to come and carry ALL your burdens as He always care for ALL HIS PEOPLE. Accept God's gift of redemption today before it is too late. I have a reason to live now................His name is JESUS

Seeing all of these testimonies makes my belief even stronger. I was too in a dark place in my life. A dark place which made me numb, it made my heart a rock, and I became a miserable person. One day, I was touched by a song called How Can It Be. Ever since then, my life has changed. God's presence was felt, and he poured into me. A friend of mine gave me a cassette tape, I listened to it three times a day for a very long time. Gradually things got better and I got more strength back. Many years later I was at a church on 15th St in New York City, St.George. There was a concert there and many people were waiting to greet the musician. I looked up to see who he was, guess what? It was the guy who wrote and sang the song, Don Moen. Don't give up Don't give in God has a plan for your life. 😃

I just went to my fall retreat. We sang this and Come To The Alter on the last night. I broke down at these songs, I fought my flesh with Christ and we stood in front of that Alter for all to see. I gave myself and everything to Christ, I've been fighting tooth and nail to not be an Israelite that only likes Him in the good times. Looking back I already know something clicked in me that wasn't there the second I took a step to that Alter to cry and pray.

God loves you! You just have to muscle through and choose to trust Him during the hard times! Kind of like working out! You know the workout might seem hard, but you still do it, and are blessed once you grow stronger and it no longer seems difficult. So choose to trust God during the hard times, and you will get to the end where you are blessed and you have grown stronger. Sad times are just seasons, the good times always come again. And Romans 8:28 is a great verse for this! "All things work together for the good of those who love God, for those called according to His purpose." - Romans 8:28 If you love God, you are called according to HIS purpose which means everything will work together for the good for you. No matter what. Whether you will grow stronger, your faith will be larger, you will be able to help someone in the same situation, or you just have to go through this hard time to get to the blessing, or all of the above.-Good will come from this problem. God will make good come from it! So trust in Him! Genesis 50:20 says: "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives." This is a verse that reflects on Romans 8:28 so well. Joseph had been through it all. He was the favorite son among his brothers, and his brothers got jealous. So they threw him into a pit to kill him. They decided not to kill him, but sold him into slavery! Joseph served as a slave, worked his way up, and then was accused of something he didn't do, so he was arrested and thrown into prison. He served in prison but then because of his faithfulness, to God, he became second in command of Egypt, because he won Pharaoh's favor from God using him to interpret a dream. Joseph became second in command of Pharaoh, and was blessed beyond compare. God blessed him so much that he was able to save Israel from a famine that would have killed them. How amazing is that? Joseph went through a lot, but each of those hard times happened so he could be blessed in the end. God allowed all that to happen to him so in the end, Israel could be saved and Joseph could be blessed. Joseph saw the big picture in the end! It all happened for the good, no matter how tough it had seemed. So hold that as a promise. What is meant for bad, God will use for good! Isaiah 41:10 says: "So do not fear, for I am with you. It reassures me of God's promise, that He will help me and strengthen me, that he will uphold me with His righteous right hand, I just don't need to be afraid. It's a choice, but it is an amazing choice. Choose to trust God even in the tough situations, and good will come of it. Trust God! Lord, I pray for this believer. They are afraid of being like an Israelite. Remind them that they only need to trust You for everything to be okay, and show them that you have amazing control over the entire situation. Show them too that you forgive their mistakes and that you are not a harsh God, but a loving one! Encourage them to share the gospel with others, give them a fire like no other to share your word! Let them be so filled with the Holy Spirit that every person walking by immediately sees Your presence in their life, and they turn to you and seek you immediately! Bless this believer with health and love and blessings and peace beyond understanding. Thank you for everything you have done in their life. Thank you for saving them and leading them to you, thank you for creating them. Thank you for their faith! Let them reach others and spread Your Word! Thank You for sending Your Son to die on the cross for our sins, and thank You for raising him from the grave so we all could be forgiven and live for eternity with you in heaven! Thank you Jesus! When I entered high school I had become depressed, hurt , and an addicted to substances. I became an atheist and said there is no God if he was real the world would not be evil. But when I turned 15 I started questioning things and I went to church and I experienced something in my life I had never experienced acceptance and love for just the way I am. On Easter 2014 I gave my life to Jesus Christ after a heart to heart talk I broke down in to tears and I asked him for forgiveness and Jesus accepted me into his family!

I was an addict most of my life. I hit my knees one day with substances in hand. I reached to the sky and I cried out for God's help! Please take this away from me! Help me Lord! My husband came in and we prayed together, we cried and we felt the presence of the holy spirit for the first time! Then we burst out laughing and I knew I was delivered. There was a lady that went to our church her name was Kim. Kim got in a Terrible car accident. A 20 year old was in the wrong lane and hit Kim head on. The 20 year old and the passenger in the car Kim was driving were dead on the scene. The took Kim to the hospital. They said she soul dove been dead like the others. She was paralyzed and had several surgeries. She had to get her left leg amputated. She was transferred to a rehab center in Austin TX. The doctors said she would never be able to breathe on her own again. I went to see her last week and she was doing amazing! She could breath on her own for a few hours strait, she could have a whole conversation by mouthing the words and she can move her little stub from her left leg (because it was amputated). This morning at church I found out that she and move both her arms, can breath on her own, and can squeak a few words! She loves this song and we play it every morning at church. Prayers would be greatly accepted! ✝

Psalm 119. 105 "My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of Heaven and Earth" ❤❤❤ lately I've been so busy that I've made no time for the Lord, and during this time I had developed independence from the Lord and relied on my abilities and flesh... But something wasn't right. It's not that I was failing because the Lord taught me well but the thing was... I just wasn't happy. Everything was the same, the people, my day but to my avail nothing could compare to the times I was in the presence of the Lord. For a long time my mind was like static, it wasn't connected n neither was it processing His channels. but blessed is the Lord and all his goodness because he reached out to me and touched me n like a river tears had spilled, like a storm my heart was calmed and like the broad open sky I also felt free! Thank you Lord. Thank you for your mercy and grace. You are ever welcomed in my life with arms wide open. For I have learnt that I never ever want to be without you. Use me as your vessel O Lord Jesus Christ. I love you ❤

If you are already saved and want to hear him. Worship and get into his prescence and ask him what to do abd to help, the nore you seek him, the more he will draw closer to you, sometimes you have to just be patient, like i used to think about how God didnt answer me, now when i ask of him its an answer very quickly, learn to hear his voice, let the holy spirit guide you and dont give up, let him teach you by his word. Understand how the spiritual realm works and how to move in it, love you all. (Note, God rarely speaks to me with an audible voice, its usually by putting feelings on me or signs etc)

god is truly amazing. I'm going through a lot right now. dealing with addiction almost 60 days clean through Him. I can't do this without Jesus my Lord and Savior. Im more then thankful to be alive really. I'm praying for a sobar living house so I can keep going with my recovery. the devil is trying to set me back but I know I may be struggling right now but I have Complete faith that God will lead me right where I need to be. I will make it through this trial with God as my leader. please everyone pray for me. This is most beautiful hymn I have ever heard in my life. I was almost fired from my job 3 years ago, and when I went to confession about what got me in Trouble, I was told to pray to the Holy Spirit, so I found this hymn here and listened to it like my life depended on it. I feel in love with it, and last year I heard it in person being performed by an amazing canter with the voice of an angel along with it being played on both a beautiful Steinway Piano, pipe organ, and violin at Christ Cathedral. Never did I ever think I'd hear this hymn in a Catholic Church, let alone Christ Cathedral, but I was then and there I heard, and it brought me to tears. This was both a hymn that had saved my job, and helped bring me closer to God. And I've made the decision for this hymn to be played on my wedding day because of how beautiful it is. Not many hymns can compare to this one, which is how special this hymn really is, and nor did a hymn sound so beautiful as this one did when I heard it in Christ Cathedral being performed by their amazing canter along with the combination of being performed on a Steinway Piano, Pipe Organ, and Violin. The Holy Spirit is very powerful, and a prayer to the Holy Spirit will work wonders, especially with this hymn. God Bless you all, and stay safe everyone. :)

I’m a 13 year old girl and I always believed in god. But I wasn’t really in church or anything. Me and my mom would church hop but never felt at home. Ever since I can remember I’ve been depressed and that made me have Anxiety, suicidal thoughts and much more. My biological father made me that way and I was at a point I never want to be in again. I went to the mental hospital because my mom found cuts on my arms when I was 12. Not even a week after I got out me and my father got into a physical altercation and he ended up leaving me saying that I was a threat. It all started because he wouldn’t let me use the bathroom with the door shut. And I understand why he didn’t want me to. I had an eating disorder. He didnt want me to make myself throw up, but Ive never been one that people could even call a threat. I was in fight or flight mode and I already tried to leave his house but I couldn’t. So after he left me I ended up running away and I became someone that I am ashamed of. Then my mom met someone and he told us about the church we go to now, I’ve never felt so at home at a church before. My church ended up opening another campus and me and my mom go there now. We helped open it. But today I was praying to god and he said something that made me almost cry. He said “I love you too my daughter”. I’ve always been told that god is the father who would never leave me. The one who truly loves me. But it never really stayed with me. I would always shrug it off. But after hearing that I now know that he is the father that love me the most and will never leave me. Sorry that was so long :)

the Holy Spirit came into my heart in summer 2016 through this song at a christian camp (Crossroad). my friends were praying for me for me until this weight got lifted off my heart, feeling like i was flying. i rejoiced with tears and i started praising him. i was really surprised, but after prayer (like 30 mins later) my friends asked if i got the Holy Spirit and i said yes. then they asked if i got the Gift of Tongues, and i said no, and they said we're going to pray for you so you get the gift. we were praying and a girl came in to the circle because she wanted the gift of tongues too. some pastors even came to pray for us two! a few minutes later, she and i got the gift at the same time! Bless God!!! like if u got the Holy Spirit!
