In regards to your SpongeBob comment, the show was originally made to be a Simpson-like show (without all the vulgarity) for adults, but kids got into it and the makers had to change their demographics. And honestly I tried to let my kids watch it because I was obsessed with SpongeBob as a kid and I had to turn it off because it does have quite a bit of adult humor and uses a lot of language that some parents may not care about but I don’t like my young kids to be hearing. But me and my childhood best friend still use SpongeBob references when talking to each other all the time lol. SpongeBob is timeless😂

I never really recognized that I felt this embarrassment until ordering water got brought up, but for me it’s the opposite. Every Sunday after church my entire family goes to lunch together. Everybody, except for my husband and I, order waters and maybe coffee but we order sodas. I also noticed through this that I feel embarrassed to order Mountain Dew at anytime because for some reason it feels like a kids drink, but it’s my favorite and I don’t think I’ll ever stop drinking it lol. Even more so, I usually get lunch (not a big breakfast person) when we go out after church but even when I sometimes get an omelette I like to order a Pepsi with it and my whole family gets on me when I proceed to eat my side pancakes and wash it down with a Pepsi 😅 Still, not gonna stop 💁🏼‍♀️

My 18 yr old son went to see the Barbie movie w/a guy friend & 3 female friends. They all wore at least one pink piece of clothing. I was like really? My kid is pretty much down for anything social. Not mad at it but was a little puzzled at first. 😆

I have followed your career for quite awhile. You are entertaining. Period. It is a little concerning though that as a Christian you don't seem to know basic details about biblical stories (unless that is ALSO part of the comedy). For example, you REALLY didn't know that Moses received two stone tablets from God that He wrote with his own finger? Really? Were you even homeschooled? 😆 Even more confusing is when you'll throw out a specific verse (with help) to make a pretty cool relevant point. John, you always crack me up and this podcast is VERY good. Thanks.
