This is an insult Because Jesus went to the cross and shed blood for our sins and now they want to say a statue is crying. For What Reason? No reason at all. This is an insult When people spend a lot of time around statues, they would think of something like this. They should read the word of God and know that Jesus did not preach about statues because Jesus is The Way, The Truth and The Life. Taking Holy Communion is for believers. It's also a remembrance knowing that the Host is the Body of Christ which was broken up and the Wine is the blood that was shed for our sins. Whenever people pray to statues and wait for some kind of miracle to happen that's not good that's not coming from God. God is with us all and he will never leave us nor forsake us. That's why he gave us his son Jesus Who's the head of the Church not Mary.

First it is not a statue , it is a painting.Second , praying to saints is biblical and the icons are helping us to pray and meditate Also our church is eucharistick and we partake in the holy communion And yes I agree the head of the church is Jesus not Mary but she still is his mother and our heavenly mother and we must honor her because she made our salvation possible

This is Catholic teaching but when you say biblical, You think of the Creator of ALL.(The Holy Spirit) So I'm not going to argue with you. And where is it biblical to pray to statue in the Bible? Where does it say that Mary is a heavenly mother Mary is only Jesus's mother, but the Miracles come from Jesus.The way to Salvation is through Jesus not marry. Communion is the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ and He commanded it in the last supper And yes we are the saints of the church but how you can not honir the people that died for Christ so The icons are a reminder if the saints , the Virgin Mary....... So the communion is a reminder to Jesus Christ .And I agree Jesus is the way but in this way we need some help and thus help are the Theotokos, the saints and the angels
