I don’t see a dog like everyone keeps saying. It’s more Lion-esque. Angewomon does make sense as an evolution because it’s her CELESTIAL FORM. Her evolution to Magnadramon does make sense because it’s dragon. Dragons are celestial beings as well💜💜💜

It’s not about appearances all of Tailmon evolution line are divine holy beings from different cultures Plotmon is a holy dog- I’m not sure which culture the holy dog is from but I think it might be Hinduism or Buddhists Tailmon is a holy cat- the ancient Eygpt used to believe that cats are divine creatures Angewomon is an Angel- Many western religion and Middle Eastern religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) believe in holy beings known as Angels Holydramon is a holy dragon- which came from the eastern Chinese culture who believe dragons being divine So it does make sense for her evolution line

But wait there's more! Tailmon also evolved into a Pegasus/horse and into a divine Priest. Digimon's evolutions unlike Pokemon's evolutions are not locked to a predetermined single path. Their attributes and relationship with their partners decide that. Plus Tailmon and Patamon have literally been blessed and are holy digimons lol

creo que hasta tiene mas sentido que sea holydramon, ya que hablando del lore de digimon, la evolución de un digimon dependen de muchos factores , uno de ellos es la data que hay en digicore el cual puede variar dependiendo de su entorno y ya que tai que es hermano de kari tiene a agumon que es un digimon dragon "puede ser" que de ahí sea el porque de holydramon ,aunque puedo estar equivocado, solo es mi opinion
