If Bowe had kept his focus and passion in boxing he'd be one of the all time greats..it was a shame he lost interest at his peak refused to fight Lewis and never met Mike Tyson. At his peak he was such a fluid athletic big fighter..but didn't train or take it seriously enough to fully reach his potential..Holyfield became a great fighter for almost opposite reasons..he trained and was passionate beyond normal human understanding lol!

Unfortunately, focus and passion wouldn't cut it. He took too much damage. Not every fighter has the longevity to keep fighting. Bowe was already in bad mental condition by the time he fought Golota

His speech was starting to get slurred when he was 27. He was told he had brain damage before the Golota fights and should retire, he didn’t and ended up taking horrible shots in both Golota fights. Very sad.

Holyfield and Bowe have been tight friends for 30 years! You can see the playful affection, and banter between the two. Their relationship reminds me of how "Sugar" Ray Leonard, and Tommy "Hitman" Hearns relationship is! The playful going back, and forth at each other, like Blood Brothers, is fun to watch!
