Wonderful viewing ! I was last in Holyhead over thirty years ago and feel certain the Celtic Gateway Bridge was but a twinkle in the town-planners eye at the time . There was a mood of optimism on the train as people were going on or returning from holiday. Sadly , this evaporated as I toured a few pubs before my sailing .The local residents were crestfallen and pinned their hopes on a move to a major city far away . A few years back some of my Hong Kong friends passed through on their way to Dublin. They were delighted to hear the ancient Welsh tongue spoken by 'blue collar workers ' only to be told they had been listening to Polish ! I look forward to your next trip . You regularly select such evocative locations .

Welsh being mistaken for Polish, eh? That made me laugh! And thanks for the kind words!

Stayed here in 2019 whilst on my way to Ireland with my springer spaniel Rolo. Stayed at the Wavecrest B&B (Highly recommended) I absolutely loved it, so much that we stayed over again on the way back. I loved the sleepy little town which gives no clue as to the amazing beaches just a short distance away.

went here on holiday. absolutely vile. not a joke, watched a man pick his nose and wipe it on the glass window behind him. 10/10 would go again
