It’s crazy to see the little things he does from player perspective. First clip he breaks smoke, jumps in aggressively, clicks chrono but then cancels it after quinn uses bkb (less than 0.5 second reaction) Second clip he gets perfect chrono, then he’s checking quinn items while hitting, sees the gem and instantly opens a slot to pick it up. Then he jumps at the muerta, realizes he can’t walk up fast enough but knows he has ink swell so walks to the edge of cliff to proc stun. 3rd clip, jumps the morph with chrono, then immediately casts manta and micros them on top of him so that muerta can’t figure out which one to euls Of course all pro carries can make these plays but the consistency, speed and ability to execute under pressure he displays is insane

True carry maybe a best carry in TI12. Carry not only just afk farm but carry fight in combat is the key. Watching him play is so crazy. I mean we had to say that is how carry should be play, farmming, combat, very high skill and the most important one i think is how you can be so calm in every situations and every important moment in game. The comparison between Ana and Yatoro is very stupid. They have their own prime. But the main difference between the two is Yatoro played consistently and that make him a beast and win 2 TI while Ana is playing TI only for sideline and after winning TI go back to vacation and wait for another TI again, and that’s what make him on a different level.

But mechanic, map awareness is really really not that Amazing(JeraX on that Meta is just good + Ceb at some cases). He cant even see his own hero. He is overated because he so humble about it, and everyone loves good boi. It just if its comparison on skill level, Ana cant even stand beside Miracle for mechanics. So yeah the comparison is stupid.

I agree with this, i've played this game since dota 1 and watch Ti since Ti3 at least.. he definitely the greatest carry all time surpassing ana and ame even miracle in his prime.. things made him outstanding isnt how fast he farm as other top tier carries also had insane farming abilities, but how good he was in team fight, positioning, decision making, consistency, itemization and other mechanical skills.. maybe he was in the same God mode like prime miracle (as midlaner).

To me Yatoro is the best and the most boring carry at the same time. I watched these games and every time he was about to join a fight I thought to myself: "he is just going to wait for the best opportunity and then jump in and take all the kills that the team has set up for him, isn't he?". 10 seconds later, boom! he does exactly that - the most optimal decision which most of us would only see after a replay analysis. Yatoro will never sell the Ring of Aquila to get the gold for a buyback because he doesn't need to, he is already ahead of the enemy... As the top comment points out, he actually does a fuck ton of stuff in those few seconds but most of it doesn't really make me scream in amazement in that moment - I am expecting him to play great and he simply doesn't disappoint.

Now that you mention it it is true. Yatoro team never disappoints so he always has something to go off of. The minor extra stuff he does is good but after the initial optimal decision he could play with his eyes closed and it would still be GG. Some people do get hyped over that stuff and wish they were just like him in that regard, but in our low bracket games we have to jump in a lot of 60/40 situations and pray that the scraps we collected throughout the game with the 4 clowns we call a team are enough.

Depends. If we use Old meta which reward GaiminG playstyle by dominating early, i believe OG got upperhand. If we use New Meta which consistency and reward Reflex+Mechanics, i believe Spirit just decimated OG. Thats the reason why people call OG got their own Magic to even win the TI.
