I think the best facet for Techies is the one which enables his backpack to be useable. Be it used as support supplies or if core, you can literally go 9 slots at late game.

Reason why I left dota long back. These patches are ruining hero ability and the fun associated with it. When they nerfed Tinker March of machines and replaced it with a different spell, It makes it pointless. Even pro Tinker players find it difficult to play tinker like before. They nerfed Bloodstone which ruined storm spirit. They Nerfed OD 2nd spell which is why these hero are not been picked much. They Nerfed Invoker scpter too. Still people are managing and playing it somehow. Likewise they nerfed many heroes who were super fun to play before. Wait for future, They'll remove - Axe 3rd passive spell. - Puck illusory orb - Terrorblade MeTamorphosis - Antimage Manaburn - Shadow Field Ultimate - Tide Hunter Ravage - Rubick spell steal - Void Spirit Astral Step - And the funniest thing i.e Phantom Lancer Illusions. They'll make it a single unit hero probably.

I love how many are complaining about the new skills despite not reading the update itself. THE NEW SPELLS ARE AN OPTION. IF YOU WANT TO KEEP USING THE OLD SKILLS, THEN DON'T TOGGLE IT ON. 😅😅

Yes, you can choose not to change Void's ult. These new changes are called "facets" and there are at least two facet options for each hero. The ones shown where Void's ult is different is because he chose the facet that changes his ult. You choose 1 facet of the hero during the strategy phase and it can't be changed once the game starts so better choose wisely.
