Thanks for sharing Sandy. Great video Tuning is always great to watch and learn about. Maybe you could suggest to Mike. He should have a separate area for the Dyno Tuning a Maybe in the back right corner better for Tuning overall air temperature etc.. lot better for the workers work there too

Absolutely ...With all the emissions regulations and nanny restrictions any modern engine benefits from a tune. I ride an 18' Goldwing Tour, a few months ago I installed a BT Moto Stage1 tune, it made the bike SO much better to ride and I love the power increase 😎

I was always wondering why modern bikes are running so lean. It is not about the ecological standards only. Unfortunately, in all engine tuning videos, tuners forget to mention, that modern bikes are equipped with catalytic converters and in order for those to live longer life without breaking down too soon, the mixture has to be lean to make sure no excessive fuel is actually burning in the catalytic converters. That is the main reason why bikes are running so lean, to avoid warranty cases. Engineers at manufacturers are not idiots, they run their engines that lean, meaning it is still safe for engines to run that way. So when you remove those cats, there is no reason running that lean mixture.

I don’t think the Harley Tuner lets you make the modifications described because of EPA compliance rules. Also, using a non epa compliant tuner will void the manufacturer’s warranty. Just something to consider, especially if you bought the HD extended warranty

Do Harley dealerships do Dino tuning? And if so do they remove the speed limiters and rpm limiters? Or do you have to find a reliable shop to do that?
