if you get the transalp and intend to off road it immediately get better tires, skid plate and make sure of your clearance. DCT? my wing has it and having a few bikes like you it's a nice change of pace. adventure riding is amazing man. looking forward to it. The africa twin is a straight BOSS !!!!

I'm an early subscriber and noticed I wasn't when I started watching. I'm not a technical guy, but pay attention you never know. The Moto Guzzi v85tt is an excellent buy for an adventure bike. Mine came with saddle bags and trunk for under 10,000.00 out the door. Finding dealers can be an issue.

As an off-road rider the clutch and shift lever are what connect me to my motorcycle. I 100% would NOT EVER ride a motorcycle without them. I tried ADV \ dual-sport riding last year. Here in the northeast it seems like decent ADV roads are some distance away and I wasn't a fan of riding a small bike on the road for hours. Then when I got to ADV routes, I found them boring to ride. The other thing is good ADV ride requires camping multiple days and I'm just not into that. I'll stick to riding a small 2stroke smoker in tough technical terrain until I can't do it anymore 😎

Yeah..John and I had dirt bikes a few years back and had nowhere to ride them. We trailered them hours away just gel some mud on our faces …

Great video Sandy!! Winter does suck, especially in New England ( Southeastern Massachusetts) where I'm from. As long as there's no salt on the road, I will bundle up and ride, but nit as much as I do in the spring, summer and fall. Looking forward to seeing your new purchase. I rented a DCT Honda rebel and I’m so glad I saw it available for rent. It was a great bike, ultra smooth but one thing I didn’t feel was very connected to the bike. More of a powerful scooter type feeling that left me a bit empty while riding.

Thanks for the video! I think you are gonna trade in the italian racing bike from your garage. And you are gonna buy a Honda Trans-alp. You got a sunny weather, we got snow and ice, same temperature though 24f. I live in Finland Europe and a channel I´m also following (Canadian saint) calls this time of thr year "seasonal depression". A very good name! (I pray for Israel and Finland !)

My opinion on Africa Twin vs Transalp. You can pick up a used AT and you get the adjustable suspension for less than a Transalp with standard suspension because they haven't depreciated yet. Anyway, I recently picked up a low mileage AT, it's a little heavy but a great torque motor at 4-6k rpms and I like the suspension. That was one of the things I like better on the AT than the Harley Pan America, the PA makes all it's power at way higher rpm. I know new vs used is a but unfair but I was looking at $7800 for a AT or like 11 or 12k OTD for the TA. Just seemed like a no brainer.

RS660 was I want it, but now you see that it's not going to get any seat time because you enjoy distance riding, Then I would get rid of the ST and get the 2024 SG/RG, the best HD's ever. The softail I'd swap for a Mid-Size ADV bike. Once you ride the 24 SG/RG it will be your favorite bike, then you have a new build out for content.

If you ever fly into SFO and have a one-day layover, I will let you cruise the 24 HD SG and I have a Tiger 900GTP too to ride. My 25 bike I will be picking up is going to be my 3rd Z900. I always have an itch for a sportbike and your Tribute color RS660 is one of the choices, but I always talk myself out of it. I always say to myself I only like it because it has cruise control.

I was at a charity ride a while back a guy came in on his bike with DCT and goosed the throttle for some unknown reason hit a pedestrian and then a wall I love the control you get with a clutch. The ability to cut power to the rear wheel or add it can save your ass. The adv bikes don’t do it for me but to each his own.

The cheese shredded in a bag has like cellulose or something in it so it doesn’t stick together….getting a block and shredding it yourself, while a little time consuming, tastes better and is probably better for you…oh but I see you have a good butter choice 👍🏼although instead of the butter try mayonnaise instead..may seem weird but it’s actually good for that kinda sandwich
